Hi guys,

My car died last week so I am in need of a new car. My mate showed me a skyline, always have liked the cars, and now want to buy one.

I was googling for information on the dealer who is selling this particular car and stumbled onto a thread containing the nissian FAST system, which allows the VIN Number to be checked. The VIN for this particualar car is listed as rb25 060551a on the site. How do I go about checking this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

You'll find thats the engine number mate, not the VIN...

The VIN will be something along the lines of ECR33 XXXXX

If it's complied, then it'll have a bunch of numbers before the ECR33, but when using FAST you'll only need the original Jap VIN, which will be ECR33 XXXXXX, and can be found on the blue build plate on the firewall.

search on www.gtr.co.uk and you might still be able to find download links for it. Its pretty big though.. like 2gig all up.

Easier to just ask ppl in the 'FAST' thread to look stuff up for you

if you need anything looked up, go to the Fast thread. parts can be looked up on fast here Nissan genuine parts thread just remember to post your vin number! as for downloading it, yea its out there. you just gotta look in the right place. outside of forums.
