Nissan 300zx 350 Chev Install

I have just purchased a 1988 Nissan 300ZX auto and I am thinking of pulling the engine (whats left of it) out and putting in a non injected 350 Chev V8.

Is there anything I need to know for these conversions??

Can I use the original auto??

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

there is actually a 300zx thats got a v8

there are a few in USA with LS1 conversions

im sure you will find alot of info online regarding this

I have had a decent look through the car and found that it is a 85 model.

I am going to convert it to a manual box also.

It is a Z31 model. The ZX in the link above is for a Z31.

I need to know about installing an LS1 manual into a 1985 Z31 Nissan 300ZX.

(Yes I am now thinking of going injected)

To be fair, some of the z31 300zx's had RB's in them.
