Due to work, I may be getting shipped off to LA for a couple of years. While I'm out here for this trip I figured I would go and do a little browsing over the car market to see what I may end up buying if I end up out here long term. (Don't worry Steve. GTR ain't going up for sale).

My budget is going to be a max of about 15k USD which so far has been looking at the following in the 2005+ age bracket.

Infinity g35 (aka V35 Skyline)

Nissan 350z

Mazda Rx8

Everything made over here has way to much tacky plastic and looks like a matchbox:

Mustang

Mustang GT

Dodge Charger

Cadillac CTS

Opinions welcome

seriously

the market in USA for cars is amazing.......

australia is shit house when it comes to cars.....

They got HEAPPPPPPPPPPSSSSSSSSSS of manufactuers like:

Buick

Lincoln

DSM

GMC

Cadillac

Mercury

Dodge

Pontiac

Saturn

Eagle

OldsMobile

Plymouth

Chevrolet

Scion

as well as other japanese models like:

Acura

Infinity

which are all the manufactuers that you will not get to see in australia.

in saying that.....

theres heaps of manufactered models that you wont get to see even from the manufactuers that supply to australia.

in Toyota usa theyve got :

Toyota Venza

Toyota Matrix

Toyota Camry Solara (2 Door)

Toyota Tacoma

Toyota Tundra

Toyota FJ Cruiser

Toyota Sequoia

Toyota Sienna

thats just toyota alone.... HOndas got the same deal there too...

Honda Element

Honda FCX Clarity

Honda Fit

Honda Pilot

Honda Ridgeline

Accura RDX

Accura MDX

ACURA RL

Acura TL

Acura TSX

id bet you any money...when you go to the US......you wont recognise more than 80% of the cars there on the road! coz there will be older models of miscellanous car manufactuer and models too....

USA is the God of the "car-market"

Dodge challenger...*must be m/t

Damn dems purdee.

btw, you can't buy the mx5 in the U.ASS

You can get a car called the Miata (spanish for i'm a lady-man) though.

well the way i look at it.....ur wrong

the Miata IS, the MX5 with a different name

and in japan apparently its called "Roadster"..its only called mx5 in aust

just like the Toyota Yaris.........its still called "Echo" in some countries...

and "Vitz" in various others......

and in north america its called "Belta" and asian countries "Vios"

I think teh challenger is winning :D

And so it should, doge/chrysler should sell them here!!!

WANT.
