Hi all,

I have been speaking to Riverside Infiniti about obtaining a batch of Motordyne ISO 5/16" plenum spacers shipped out to Melbourne. These are by far the most highly recommended spacers for the VQ35 and deliver great bang for buck for an n/a upgrade. The ISO version is a tad more expensive but is better for reducing heat issues which can only help in our cramped engine bays.

With today's shitty exchange rate, the cost is around AU$400-405 delivered for each unit. However, if I can get interest for 5+ units together, we can get them for about $370-375 each, depending on the day payment is made.

Interested parties should let me know by COB Monday and be prepared to transfer money to my account for payment if they want to be involved. They would also need to be prepared to pick up from me in Elwood or North Fitzroy. I have also posted this on the 350Z-Tech Australian Classifieds Forum.

Thanks,

Max.

interested with the ISO thermal version.. How long will the shipping takes? How much for deposit?

Shipping will be a couple of weeks I guess and I would ask for the full amount of $400 up front so I'm not out of pocket. I would refund the difference on pickup if we get enough takers.

According to the website here http://www.motordyneengineering.com/G35.php

it can add 12-14HP, now is that require an aftermarket piggy back system like SAFC or not?

I don't think they require any computer modifications.

I'm not even sure if I wanna join in, gotta stash up some money's as my fate on my current job might get decided over the next few weeks...

Sounds like another corporate downsizing exercise is coming...

But for you guys I found this instruction how to install them yourself... if you don't want to send the car to a mechanic.

There are two guys on 350z-tech from Sydney that are interested so a Melb and Syd order could be made if there is 5 in each location.

Exactly . The way it is looking i think we will just about manage 5 in each location.

Annoying that I can't edit the first post.

The Motordyne Copper Iso Thermal plenum spacer for the 2003-2006 Infiniti G35 Sedan and 2003-2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe adds 12HP-14HP and reduces the effect of power robbing heat soak by thermally isolating both the upper and lower plenum. Its 5/16" thickness provides the best overall performance and is fully compatible with your engine cover.

All Motordyne Iso Thermal systems keep your upper and lower plenum cooled without the risk of throttle body freezing when driving in cold weather.

Use the Copper if it snows in your area.

i think the main point/difference here, is in the last line?

That's as I understand it. You can choose whichever one you like. I think ISO is the pick for Australian conditions, unless you regularly drive to the snow.

I'll update you in the Sydney buy.
