Hi guys, as the topic states ... I've got two studs stripped inside the head (off the exhaust manifold) ... they probably have to be drilled out im guessing, is there someone who can help off the forum (with payment off course) ? I have a new turbo waiting to go in, also what would the best place to buy exhaust manifold gasket and other gaskets be?

Thanks for the help

hey ... I probably don't want to risk dropping bits back in the head ... so i'll leave it to the experts. I'm good with tools (going to install the turbo myself) but not that confident in stripping bolts out lol! I can even drive the car to see him so it shouldn't be a huge cost (hopefully)

i'll call him tommorow, and call nissan to get the gaskets.

Anyone here installed a tr43 on an r32 before? got a few questions i needed to ask

thanks for all the help fellaz

Another vote here for the thread doctor.

Don't mess around with it yourself and cause more grief.

Good price / Good service.

In Ringwood from memory.

Came out to my place, I had about 3-4 exhaust manifolds snapped

in the R31head and he got them out fairly easily within 20-30mins.

This included removing a bit of snapped off bolt/screw remover aka 'eazy out'

(courtesy of my dodgy mechanic) like the one's in james k pic's above.
