Cam84
Hi guys atm my R33 has 18 x 7.5 inch wheels, i have another set 18 x 8. just wondering if you can use spacers to bring the wheels out? im getting wider ones but until the coin rolles in spacers may have to do Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261069-using-spacers-on-an-r33/ Share on other sites
joeyjoejoejuniorshabadoo
you would need hub centric bolt on jobbies... illegal and not really a great idea... you'll probably live tho Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261069-using-spacers-on-an-r33/#findComment-4480519 Share on other sites
Wacky Dee
I've been considering spacers (hub centric) but totally gave up on it as it's too much of a risk. you really need 20mm+ spacers to stop the original studs from portruding (so that you don't have to cut them) plus there are just too many horror stories about spacers and wheels coming off so not worth it at all imo. shanusr33
i've got 'em, not sure what type but my mechanic did them said they were legal and fine? well... they were fine, until i started going over bumps and cause of my stupid wide arse they rubbed on the guards, which started cutting up my tires. so now i only have them on the front, not the back, and have a pair of spacers sitting in my garage cause i can't use them on the rears woops, about to offer you a run with them for a few weeks but just realised your in newcastle, nevermind. get em, ive had them for almost 3 years no problems at all they fill out the front wide guards i've got really well.
