FMIC from Autobahn

I`m looking at a FMIC from Autobahn.Trent there said that they run a Spearco core and are very good.The size of the FM is 600x300x78 so its a nice size.

Does anyone else here run this core or the full system with end tanks?

Chris was going to do that core for me for 780 bucks as apposed to its RRP of 880. He swares by them. Also the Autobarn 180sx uses one and that made the numbers on the dyno.

they look pretty damn good and well designed... i dohbt you will have issues with flow and cooling

cant see why it wouldnt be any good, most aftermarket cores are good. Who are you getting to do the piping?

I think it looks very similiar to the one that I am running.

The One hanging on the wall that I saw was a bar and plate fmic.

Matt... Have a good look inside the tanks I think i noticed some messy welding and slag around the places.. not sure if its anything to worry about though. ?!??!

I bought it.I did look on the inside and found no problems,this one has better welding than the one on show.Now to fit the bastard(Clint my bestess friend)

Launching her the other night burt the clutch a little. 4200rpm launch excellent punch off the line the best i have done so far then clicked second softely flattened it then the rev's flicked to 8000rpm and I had to back off then gun it again..

God knows how it will handle 200+ rwkw if it can't even handle 225's on the rear with only around 155rwkw.

Have to go to Uni Next year so well i hope I don't break anything

Oh yer I got the rear Disks off.

You need two bolts that screw in to the thread near the center then it simply comes off

Back brakes seem to lock up before the front now though?!?!

Maybe because they are new.. I Hope.. I did notice with the fronts when i first put them in that they were really grippy and would lock up really easy so time will tell for them to settle in.

Joel-with your brakes like that it should be a great car for drifting:lol:

Maybe you should bleed the brakes front and back.That might make a difference or wait til they wear in.
