nothing near the airport mang, its flat as a pancake

you can do a qtr mile run on nudgee rd if your that bored

Wait ill go steal a tractor and we can have a race :(

Depending on what the roadwork behind the airport is like, you could do a run down lomandra rd and sugarmill road. couple of roundabouts to drift. It's not an exciting run, but it's the only thing out that way.

Otherwise head north or south on the gateway and see if you can find something.

They're not mountain roads, but the tourist roads in brighton/redcliffe etc are nice and curvy. Few parked cars though.

Maybe just head northwest towards Strathpine/Cashmere, head in the back way to Samford, and then tackle one of the mountains.

Head home through Gap Creek Road if you feel like taking the tractor on the cattle run.

    • Long time no see, I haven't posted since 14 years ago... To cut to the chase, R32 GTR. dead stock. Split wastegate hose = stock turbos were overboosting = front turbo's exhaust wheel has shattered. Have done a compression test following this and the results are (dry, cold) - 120 / 60 / 75 / 110 / 150 / 150. Haven't bothered with a wet test or leakdown test. The results definitely support front turbo failure (on 1-3) however the low compression on #4 is concerning too. Can anyone share their experience of when their turbine wheel shattered and damaged their motor - and what work needed to be done afterwards? Pistons? Rings? Valves? Throwing in the bin or salvageable? Motor is 100% stock. Will be getting it looked at further soon - I don't have a borescope and head hasn't come off (yet).
    • Depends how low and tyre size. Should fit with natural camber, skinny tyres and rolled guards.
    • Hi guys, planning to get 18x9 +25 in fronts and 18x10 +25 in rears been reading the whole thread and cant really find anything   Anyone know if these will fit a r34 gtt with no scrubbing or guard work needed?
    • They usually get made by hand as part of any such swap.
    • Was planning on getting an R35 MAF and the adapter, should this be okay? Also any idea where I could get my hands on an intake pipe?
