you serious? that show blows goats.

f**k you Timmeh, im kicking you in the nuts next time we meet

Since when did GTTs fit 10 inch wide rims at a +12 offset?

Te37s on GTS and GTT look shit, the offset on the fronts is always lame, same problem i had with the really cheapshit impuls on the R32, nice at the back terrible at the front

John doesn't care about that because he refuses to use toll roads.

i too am a believer to dodge that shit like the plague - but i mean $4.30 for what - 2km?

such a dog act

sadly the plan is to end up like Sydney with toll roads everywhere, so while you can avoid them your life is going to suck ass in doing so

Matter of perspective I guess. I prefer the non toll way. Having to use a toll road is what makes it suck ass for me

thats true, what im saying though is now its fine to dodge the tolls, and I do, because there is hardly any. In years to come when it gets like Sydney its going to be gay because dodging the tolls down there is such a mission :(

theoretically it should

I'll watch it if it does

I still toll dodge in Melbourne, and that's a bit of a mission in itself too.

But still, I'll feel better for not having paid a toll even if it takes me an extra 45mins to drive somewhere. And really... I ALREADY go that way... so I'll still be going the same way I always have.

    • Well I don't know if it was a professional or not. I did a head gasket before so doing it on the RB wouldn't be too much of a challenge.   Already have a slight drip on the bottom radiator (almost new -_-) hose and the lower of the two heater connector hoses behind the head. Will have to fix those too.
    • Apparently very early R33s had R12, after that they switched to R134a. So if it's all OEM R134a and the parts still exist it might be worth keeping it stock. But from a quick search the condenser is really, really expensive if it's still available. Hard to say which actually ends up cheaper here, if you end up needing a new compressor the FPG kit is probably cheaper.
    • A changed head gasket is an opportunity for whoever the butt-monkey was that did the job to mess it up. And there is far more than one way for a head gasket failure to manifest. Besides which, I did not say "head gasket failure". I just said that the coolant could be coming from there. If the gasket was not installed properly there might be a leak path from a coolant gallery to the outside and no mixing of fluids inside. Anywhere that a hose joins a hard pipe is a big opportunity for a leak. If the rubber is old then it will be brittle and it is only a matter of time before that will leak, and the same with every other bit of rubber on the car. Paranoia will eventually drive you to take the whole thing apart so you can find and replace all such. It's not easy with the plenum in place.
    • God no. I would have never bought that car if it was going to be my only one and daily driver. I don't intend to go bankrupt but I don't really want to give up on it even if it ends up eating more money than expected.
