Inner West Crew Whoretown (toowong/st Lucia/kenmore/indooroopilly And Sometimes Sunnybank?)

I think all GTRs look like shit personally. Don't like the shape of them. Too much like a 350/370 and a V35

:P

I love the 35's but I know what you mean about them looking too much like other new nissans

ROFLCOPTER!!

That's awesome!!

+1. This thread needs more macguyver

maybe for an ambrams tank...

Also for a 31. They would only sit a few mm further out than my rims. But I have nfi how they'd sit on a 34, which is why i didnt comment on offset. 31s have epic small track so you need like 0 offset for decent fitment.

Dan isn't running a Secret Dick Drift style car. He has better taste than that ;)

Oh snap

Dan - keep shopping and see if you can get 9.5s all round rather than stagger it would be my opinion. But other than that

Staggered FTW, its RWD with a fair chunk of power

Morning mangz

Mornin

Alright now at the risk of recieving 3rd° burns im jus gona say that IMO this new Tommy Kaira GTR looks shit compared to the stock one . . .

What you recon ?

I wouldn't say it looks sh*t, but the stock one looks better for sure.

Fixed for what you were trying to say, but I dissagree. They are teh sex

Thats what she said

lol

what about zombie sharks?

Scary thought. Steal a submarine? Torpedos ftw motherf**ker

seen dawn of the dead? they tried your plan and got f**ked up

That's because movies suck ass.

that was only because they didn't take enough gas and drifted to some random island.

if they had have been smart about it it could have worked.

you really only need to go out a little way and drop anchor. then pick them off one by one with a sniper rifle

mmm .50 cal.

yer, im with colin on this, i'm crimin' an oil rig to chill in, except i want a speed boat to get from shore to rig, think of the amount of ammo you will waste through in a full day killing, i know in an afternoon/evening of shooting roo's (with a permit) i ran through 20 rounds just taking it easy. You will need to have somewhere safe to relax while reloading all that ammo. Plus oil rigs are awesome town, only a small crew on them so not too difficult to take over.

Rifles eh? hopefully this time next month my paperwork will be lodged so i can get one

Now your on the trolley.

I'm in for the slaughter, but how long you think it will last? I could go for a couple days full on, then back to the rig for party and resupply

+1

yeah... i'm only having zombie secks if molly turns...

:P

i'll let you guys go for the wack zombie secks.

I also will have license to purchase shotguns so i have just read! yay!

When are we goin roo shootin in the XF then

If you purchase ANYTHING during a zombie apocalypse instead of just taking it... I *will* the sphincter of the universe slap you.

FYP

Sup ppls

I need all u "rim pros" ;) to tell me what u think about these

Volk TE37-excellent condition and light

18x8.5 +30

18x9.5 +35

RE540S 235/40 265/35

Nice. Good deal with those tyres but could use lower offset.

good deal, great tyres

shame about that offset, they never look as good as in the gtr offset

QFT

It didn't need fixing technically. They're called GTRs :P

Yes, but sureley you don't think "all GTRs" look shit. Look at Colin's: it gives me a semi.

Semantics my friend

When are we goin roo shootin in the XF then

Nice rims

i give it a thumbs up because its something that doesnt have chrome on it

Chrome isn't always bad uleh. Work do some tasty chrome rims.

Yeah they would be great for track but with that o/s the fronts will sit like 20mm inside the gaurds :P

I'd keep looking and find some in decent offset tbh.

For John

I don't like the rear arches but other than that it's pretty good.

Caught up on everything now. As you were bitches.

Colins THIRTY TWO GTR gives me half bar. But GTRs don't :P
I think all GTRs look like shit personally. Don't like the shape of them. Too much like a 350/370 and a V35

Don't make me draw a set diagram

why? are you running low on crayon?

No plenty of crayon, but the office girl will look at me funny if i go and feed a crayon set diagram through the MFD so I can post it up here :P

lmao funny shit.

Sunburn from the weekend has reached peeling stages. i feel like goldmember.

serves you right for being a ginger and going outside

fail offset and width.

Not really... But since Dan's got his guards rolled, yes they are. They'll fit perfectly on stock cars though. Width are fine without any stretching visible with 245 front and 265 rear. But then again everyone's opinion is different. Personally I dont like stretched look at all.

Dan - keep shopping and see if you can get 9.5s all round rather than stagger it would be my opinion. But other than that

Yes from a practical point of view which is the way to go.

danski, i dont mind the staggered fitment it has everything u want/need it for anyway..

Staggered seems to be the way to go for 99% of the non-AWDs anyway. I dont see a problem with that other than not optimising the tyre wearing.

They don't do anything for me. I'd rather a 34GTR :P

+1. Mspec NUR FTW

It didn't need fixing technically. They're called GTRs ;)

Add Skyline to it and you'll be 100% right on that. New GTR ditched the Skyline part of it I believe.

Oh yea... f**king Nebo is so far. 165km round trip, cost me close to 30bucks on fuel + shit loads of suicidal bugs on my car. Now I gotta wash them when I get home from work. Anyway it was fun and I learned not to trust speed signboards.

Shan .. you still want those 6pot calipers?

nope, selling the r32 and the cefiro. bought a 5.7L V8 camaro, and looking at buying a VW Golf MK5 as a daily. no more nissan mods for me, cept on the s14 which I'll keep as a track car... but not focussing on that for a while.

btw, just booked in singapore fromt he 25th of Feb to the 2nd of March. U gonna be there?

    • Adjusting the idle screw is usually (emphasis on usually) just covering up deeper issues. Stuff like the cold start valve not closing properly. Throttle shaft seals on the way out. Coolant temp sensors getting out of spec. Coolant temp sensors especially can be a bear to diagnose because they can fail subtly. My dad just spent weeks chasing down his high idle. He cleaned the coolant temp sensor and everything but the resistance curve just drifts over time and if it's been 20+ years they also get super slow to respond as well. Has a massive effect on fuel economy as if it's off the ECU is going to run richer and command high idle for far longer than it should otherwise.
    • How old is the battery, it's more likely your battery is on its way out.
    • I reckon you'd get 90% off. My washer doesn't get between spokes very well. Haha! I love my Gerni!  Argh! Steam cleaning has its place for sure.
    • Hey all, I did a voltage test with the car (video attached) not running for 3 days. And here is some interesting stuff: - Battery voltage is 12v (I had the key in the ON position) - Drops to 9.76v while cranking then quickly goes up to 14.5v - You will notice there was a sorta slow start but not as slow as it usually is. - Idle surprisingly was better at just over 1,000rpm instead of 1,100 rpm. - I turned on the A/C, radio and headlights in the video and the voltage remains the same - I haven't cleaned the grounding wires on the chassis yet, that's next. - Battery drops to 12.6v when I turn off the car and wait a bit Seems like I might have a parasitic draw? I do have an immobiliser system which does drain the battery more of course but was wondering if there is anything else I should be looking at fixing? Does the ground wires on the chassis have anything to do with the low 12v?        SAU.avi
    • My lord that is some low oil pressure as minimum in the manual! I guess the big part will be seeing how it changes as the engine gets more spirited use.
