1. Get a Job

2. Thats the same style as my mate has in his boat. Fits without cutting. But not 100% sure if it will fit a 32 without cutting...

So if anyone remembers my discussion about Sarina Russo the other week and them making me do some course dealy... that started yesterday. It's a proper certificate qualification in customer contact. Honest to god... customer contact needs a certificate now to prove you can do it...

I miss the world before it went stupid.

So for FIVE WEEKS I have to go to Saria Russo and do this course, that I could easily do in a night if they let me take the book home. But oh noes! Can'ts take teh buks! Apparently it's all so hardcore copyrighted that it can't leave the room with you. So if you want to do revision of a night. Too bad. It's a threat to national security. Seriously... the way the lady described it was like they had an Enigma machine and didn't want anyone to crack the code!

The "teacher" is as smart as my left ass cheek, so that's already made for some interesting "debates". Her grammar is TERRIBLE. Example of yesterday's whiteboard writing:

your on a Island to your left is a MYER'S to your right is a Macca's in front of you is a BP Behind you is water (were R. U. ?)

That is character for character what she wrote down!! My head almost exploded. I corrected her in front of the whole "class" while everyone stared at it wondering how it was wrong... *facepalm*

For those wondering here's the corrected version:

You're on an island. To your left is a MYER, to your right is a Macca's, in front of you is a BP and behind you is water (where are you ?)

She loves breaking everone up into groups too... to "brainstorm". I'm sorry... but how can there be a storm if the three people you put me with don't even have any electrical activity in their brain?!

This is going to be a loooonnnnng five weeks. And it's 0900-1530 every weekday, which really cuts into my job hunting time... so not impressed.

Hasing coffees nao to try and calm nerves before I go.

Oh! And one week we have to go to Caboolture! Caboolture of all places!! And she has the nerve to try and organise some sort of carpool because only a few of us have cars. I'm sorry... but if I don't know these people, or give them a ride to their job interviews, or to work... why the hell am I going to give them a ride to CABOOLTURE?!?! Keep dreaming lady! They can get there however they get everywhere else.

By the way... can anyone tell me why the first chapter in the book is about effective team work/working in teams etc. What does that have to do with customer contact? I asked the "teacher". Her answer? "It's one of the modules in the book". So... because it's in the special Enigma pages... it's part of it. I should try and sneak in something on deep fryers...

*sigh* I have to leave soon... I think I'm going to have to get V or Rockstar on the way. There's no way I can deal with this without copious ammounts of caffiene :D

1. Working on it! Being cockblocked!

2. Not much room under mine. I'd get pics... but you're not actually here, so there's no good reason for me to get on my hands and knees on the floor :D

Rant

Damn, that sucks massively dude. I feel for you. I'd go insane for sure.

I hate stupid people.

Sucks donkey dick John. WTF is Customer Contact anyway? Is this a new form of Customer Service were you get to touch everyone? Is this some requirement for a job that you applied to? I obviously missed the discussion last time.

Just sorted out all my uni timetable shit lol. 168 hours in a week - 39 for work - 49 for sleep - 18 uni contact hours - 20 hours travel - 18 hours study time(They say optimal study time should be an hour for every hour you are in uni). So that leaves me with 24 spare hours a week. 17 of which are on Sunday.

you will quickly work out which contact hours you can drop, i didnt go to uni for the last 3 years of my degree, I found my time was better spent at home working on assignments and doing the reading, lectures are a total waste IMO

PS All my parts are now at the engineers ready for machining and balancing :D

The optimal amount of study time is 0. And you can halve those contact hours at least. Take it from me, and I graduated with honours :ninja:

I realise this but I'm english and I shall never pass up the opportunity to complain. Duh. There are two subjects that I am worried about that I will probably attend 75% of lectures. One is an engineering subject the other is measurement. The lecturer for measurement is f**king useless and never puts anything up online so I'll have to go to most of those. I'll probably end up doing most of my study on the train. Seems pointless to waste 4 hours a day travelling and not get anything done. Still going to be a flamin mongrel of a semester.

    • I like it when the counter chick leads you out the back into the racks and says "have a grub around in here and see if you can find what you need. I'll be back in a few minutes. Just left me in front of a massive motorised shelving system and 2-3 million fasteners, so I could find a peculiar SS shoulder bolt with cap head. Gotta love country towns.
    • I used this https://osgiken.com.au/product/os-giken-os-250r-lsd-gear-oil-80w250-1-litre/   shut my nismo 1.5 pro up by heaps…. Not silent though. Gives the car character and personality. It ain’t a carolla. If you want silent, put a quaife in it.
    • It's about the same time for me from Bunnings, or the Fasteners. My big push away from takeaway food, and gluten in general keeps me away from the Bunnings Snags too! Weather up here, I've been out for two walks today in the beautiful sunshine. Had a few little drizzles, and some wind, that honestly, a tin of beans and I could compete on how harsh she blows Thankfully, being this bit inland, we're not getting anything much really. Will probably pick up a bit more when/if Cyclone Alfie decides to come ashore. A few areas in the GC though, and south into NSW are really getting smashed though! Right now, I'm just annoyed Alfie hasn't hit, as I'm not allowed to crack into the BBQ foods like the bacon and eggs until the Cyclone hits "In case we lose power"...
    • I love fastener joints, the price difference between them and joints like Bunnings or Super Cheap is amazing, and they either have exactly what you want, or they can get it to quick They have even given me some for free when I only needed a couple of specific size In saying this, I have paid premium for fasteners from Bunnings if they have the sizes I need, but only for convenience really, as my local is only 10 minutes away, the Sushi joint near them is also a consideration  How's the weather Matt? Stay safe mate
    • Wideband is worth setting up if only for tuning purposes. I would not mess with the ignition system unless there's a misfire. HKS crank trigger is popular out here for the relatively easily sourced Denso crank sensor, not a bad idea to install as well regardless of power level on a standalone. Boost leak test is worth thinking about. Oil pressure sensor tied to a fuel cut isn't a bad idea either. Getting the tune figured out is a good idea. Without putting eyes on it and getting under it there's no way for us to tell you exactly what it needs but most likely you're down to the last 10% that will make a big, big difference in how happy you are with the car.
