126 RCU Represent!

that was bray park hey?

i was at enoggrea barracks attached to 1JSU as our billet squadron...

i went on to join in 1999 as a reserve...

left in 2005 after work not being flexible towards being a reservist...

it was join full time or quit for me...

126, i did NCO's and senior NCO's courses with a few of your guys/ladies...

Kogler, Grieves, Barclay & Chin to name a few...

great times in the late 90's forged some great friendships, best times...

when are you taking delivery of the 35 Col/

still March

cant get a 2011 any sooner, we are at the front of the que at Moorooka Nissan for ours

so we should have one of the first 2011's in Queensland

Turbo changed... little bit of messing around to get her to start but finally got it sorted. It's weird though, doesn't seem to want to make boost easily.

Thanks for the help Dan. After that last hose went back on she started perfectly

That should be an awesome experience dude.

Obviously im yet to drive a 2011, but if its as good as everyone's saying over the older version than im happy I waited...

Wish it was a wee bit cheaper tho, back to baked beans and toast for me for a few years...

Yer Bray Park, Grieves was the boss when i joined. Good times, I joined in 1998, just shows how young i am ;)

1994 til 1999 for me, i still speak to Grieves these days...

We did our CUO's course together also, got photos on my facebook actually...

Good times, F88 syter 300m range, Bushmasters bashing over trees at 60kph like their twigs, ATA course...

loved the condensed milk tubes from the Rat packs... still addicted today...

cadet hey...

airforce cadet, even better... :whistling:

129RCU represent... :D

f**king army. I had an army cunt salute me once (flight sergeant, ffs, it looks the same as your staff sergeant). I tore him a new one. Wasn't even a nOOb, he was a JNCO.

At least you guys weren't as bad as the f**king navy...

Hahahahah I lol'd

That's what she said.

Me no understandy?

That's what she said.

38 sqn rep!!

Good news, but somethings wrong. That turbo should spool faster than a 33 one.

Yeah that was my thought too. Would it be more intake-related you think?

Or could a leak anywhere in cooler piping slow the spooling down?

exhaust leak before the turbo?

wastegate sticking open?

boost control issue?

Very sure it's not an exhaust leak pre-turbo. Manifold is sweet, all studs and nuts are great, gasket was like-new and I used goo too. Can't hear anything like an obvious loud exhaust leak.

Wastegate..hmmm. I'll see what I can find out.

I'm thinking it's more likely to be intercooler piping loose. I've had a few pop off over the couple of years. Might just undo/redo all when I can be bothered and see if that helps

ok, six screws i cannot get out, to disassemble the sunroof

any final advice before i drill the fark out of them tomorrow afternoon?

currently soaking them in WD40, and will give them a tap tomorrow before I attempt to unscrew them.

if that fails, drilling the fark out of them.

You're tried a big breaker bar?

The other thing is to try and crack them by tightening a little bit.... and then loosening once it's been cracked.

depends what sort of screws and where they are, how big, etc.

If they are actual screws, not a lot you can do really other than drill them out, they are probably rusted in.

If they are bolts and have a socket head, you have a couple of options. Could try a breaker bar as ravi said, rattle gun, spanner + hammer, etc...

Sarp mangs. I had a good weekend. Did pretty much f**k all. Got home from work at 2:30ish and went out and bought COD Black Ops and GT5. After that I barely moved off the couch lol.
