Morning Mangs,

Accomodation booked for GP weekend :). I am excite.

cool. they seem to be making a good name for themselves.

will have to take me for a ride when you do get it. curious to see how it feels compared to my old high flow.

Yeah NP, will be a little while yet though...

Slept funny on my neck. Gonna be one of those days.

That's what she said.

Morning Mangs,

My oil cooler came yesterday I think I got short changed on the hose lol but ahwell only got like 2 pieces 30cm long. But it has a shitload of earls fittings with it. BDO this weekend though so won't have a chance to fit it.

Yay for lots of earls fittings. Not yay for no hose :(

Work is doing a two week site release to help with the Flood cleanup so I'll be doing that for two weeks, should be interesting.

Good stuff. Im aiming to head out again Sunday (sat is dad's birthday).

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

That's what she said.

damn braided line has to be the most pricey stuff around, although i seen how much braided teflon hose was the other day... I won't complain about normal braided line

Ravi, who you going with? Will have to meet up on the day

Me, the ms and another friend. Driving down lunch time, heading home after Tool. Not a big one for any of us, poor bastards hahaha. And yeah definately... who are you hanging out to see?

Moaning all.

MOANING

i need to poop badly...

Try eating my 'blow-your-balls-off- vindaloo that I made last night THEN tell me that...

When would you use braided teflon lines?

Edited by mosquitocoils

Tool, Rammstein, Deftones mang. We've got accomodation for the Sunday night so should be sick. Braided teflon hose = fuel lines. Don't get the fuel smell in the cabin as bad then when you're running a couple of external pumps + surge tank etc.

anybody got a trolley jack i can borrow/use?

need to jack the back of the car up to bolt the cage inside the wheel arches.

I have a low lift one you can borrow but I'd need it back by the weekend at the latest... and its a long trip for you.

Or I have a crappy repco one that you could borrow, still a long trip but you wouldnt need to return it so soon.

Can I interest you in a game of indoor cricket @ toombul, 5:50PM?

@Ravi, you wouldn't happen to play cricket would you?

I am out at our Zillmere office today and tomorrow, so not that far a drive.

Toombul, would need to go home grab a change of clothes, shoes etc then come back out. Wouldn't be able to do it by 5:50.

Not really man... don't mind the odd hit when half smashed with some mates in a backyard, but that's about my limit hahaha

Well, I'm not home till after cricket tonight (7:30), and I don't have either of them with me. But if you want to come after that no problem.

Otherwise, if you like I can load one of them in and bring it with me tomorrow, I'm about 5 minutes from Zillmere. But if you want the low lift you'll still need to work out a way to get it back to me by the weekend. Thurs night perhaps?

I have trolley jack one over this side of the river, no weekend time limit on this one.

Awesome. Am I able to borrow it this arvo, or tomorrow arvo?

Send me a text 0403 437 653 and I will grab the rest of your details

All good, Jeremy delivered. :D

I will hopefully be out at stones on thursday, unless it's raining, as I don't think I will have figured out my sunroof dillema by then.

    • Just remake the bracket. It's just bent steel with a nut welded to it. It is thinner material than you might remake it in. You just have to get the thickness right in places where it absolutely must be (and there might not actually be any such places. The same motor trimmer who you get to work on the outside of the seat would no doubt have done exactly this type of repair in the past.
    • Yeah I agree, it's almost impossible to get them out without inflicting some sort of damage to the subframe!  Especially when you get excited with the air chisel like I did!  I'm not fussed, it's a somewhat non-critical component in terms of inhibiting function if there were dags or slight damage to the bore of the bush location.  Once you bolt it back up it never moves.  It's not like a suspension arm that needs to move through a range of motion that damage would actually make a difference to.
    • Update: pulled the passenger bracket off and looks some what universal. the driver bracket is proper cooked and don’t see how I could get it fixed.   my thought process is, buy a cheap passenger seat and swap the bracket over and foams as mine are cooked
    • Will definitely ask, I’m expecting that I’ll need to sell my left nut
