Nah, won't make it in time. Gotta go to the gym at 5, and then over to Germside after that to go to Kmart. Won't get out of that shithole till close to 9 irection. Then home to have dinner and go to bed to get up at 5:30 to do it all again tomorrow :down:

Ordered some gopro stuff off the web a month or so ago. One of the items wasn't in stock, they told me it would be a couple of weeks so I said that was fine.

Got sick of waiting today, here is the email trail:

Apologies for the delay.

The Skeleton housing is still out of stock and the last coversation we had with you, you wanted the order shipped out together. We have the other products in stock so we can send those out to you in the meantime and leave the skeleton housing on back order, up to you?

I have followed this up for you and unfortunately the supplier was unable to give me an approximate ETA on the skeleton housing. It appears they are now on back order, apologies for the delay.

In that case, can you please just remove the skeleton housing from the order completely and ship the remainder. Don't worry about leaving the housing on back order for me.

sounds exactly like a certain tyre shop. Ordered tyres and got told they will be there at 2pm. rang at 3.30 to confirm they there and was told yup. Jumped in car and told boss i would be back in 30mins. Got there after battling traffic for an hour to be told that they are not here. WTF.

The story i was told is another person called craig ordered tyres that morning and they were confused.

They ended up deliverying them to me next day so that was good.

makes me laugh tho

      Hey good to see you on the forums! Haha Considering this cars past with electronic issues I am leaning towards it being a wiring fault somewhere in the engine bay. When testing the ac relay in the fuse box there was no earth trigger. I am probably going to try "bench test" the compressor by giving it direct ground and power to see if i can hear the ac clutch click otherwise I will be pretty sure I have a dead compressor. If it does work then I will be tracing some wiring it seems.

      Haha, the big brain move is to buy a second set of headlights to clean up or retrofit. I definitely don't have one sitting in a cupboard that hasn't been touched since it arrived. Just have to ignore the intrusive thoughts that suggest the second set is not quite as good as it could be and to buy a third set that the job would definitely get done with

      Nah I'm talking about the GTS-t with 15" wheels and single piston brakes.  I've seen them pop up occasionally over the years. You can see it in the brochures. Most were early models (aka Series 1).

      Oh man... I've been here, that's for sure. I love my ugly but still functional headlights that can never come apart again.
