Lol, one of my half shafts is completely f**ked. There's an arc of oil around the CV joint where it's been spraying out :/

Good time to get them rebuilt I think, while the car is off the road for the clutch...

Yeah it was massive, about 90 pages of that is text. The rest is graphs and simulation data etc. The pdf of it was like 9mb lol, I doubt the lecturer will read it all.

sooo, anyone know a good Moderator on here that i can ask a question and will listen?? ive had a post modified elsewhere in the forums...and am non too impressed with the abuse of power...as it could only have been a mod that did it.

Don't go there brah. Last time I did I got sent to Auschwitz for like a month >_<

But if you really wanna push it... try Col_GTSX or whatever close approximation of that his username happens to be. Can't be sure off the top of my head if that's it.

Christ. Went to chermside to do a few things( new parking thing is cool. can see where there are parks by lights) and found a shop that you choose a soft toy and they fill it and you can choose outfits fir them. End result with 3 kids in tow.... bill for $185!.

Never have kids people!

beached as? as for the mod question earlier.....im far to lazy to chase it up. if people wanna be douche bags or internet warriors, so be it........and i still dont get it

i take my bike to chermside, new parking system is good, but i'll always get a park right near the entry undercover

Girlfriend hates the new parking system though, staff have to pay for parking, they get staff rates but if you start late there isn't enough parks for the staff then they have to pay full price, $20 a day

    • Meh, it's only got to last another 10 years or so until you'll be forbidden to drive it. Keep it dry and forget about it.
    • The title of Engineer is not protected. However different states have different rules about what an Engineer requires to operate. Engineering for a motor vehicle modification is very different to engineering for a bridge, electronics, etc, including what that engineer needs as certifications.   In Canberra, "Engineer" is the loosest category with basically nothing stopping you calling yourself and engineer and designing a bridge or building. From what I've reviewed, QLD has the strictest requirements through RPEIQ.
    • Yeap, legal modifications are limited  We have rules and regulations on what you can do legally This is for NSW, other states have different governing bodies  https://www.nsw.gov.au/driving-boating-and-transport/vehicle-registration/how-to-register/registering-a-used-or-secondhand-vehicle/modified-and-non-standard-vehicles https://www.nsw.gov.au/sites/default/files/2021-02/RMS-13.464-Light-vehicle-modifications-Vehicle-Standards-Information-No-6-November-2013.pdf Lots of people just roll the dice though and just hope they don't get picked up,  as the police and RMS occasionally run roadside inspections, getting "defected" for not complying can be a painful and expensive experience
    • Out of curiosity, I believe the title of "Engineer" is not protected in Australia like it is over here. I'm curious, does Australia actually have professional engineers do vehicle inspections?  If so, Jesus Christ what in the f**k.
