I would if i was an insurance company.

turns out i still need to cover the excess until they track old mate down, or i just wait till they sort that out (in other words Shannons dont want to sort out the police report asap, and are trying to scam 500 out of me)

Got the ball rolling yesterday, now i need quotes. can someone suggest a good panel shoppe on the northside? ive never had to deal with one...so i wouldnt know.

Anybody free and willing to help me dismantle the car this weekend? Struggling with shitty tools and have no idea how to go about pulling the engine out.

Willing to provide food and drinks cause I am a cheap fark

These guys did work on my sisters mazda, they replaced a rear quarter skin and painted it. I know they replaced it i just can't work out where they joined the new panel in. Quality work great blending on the paint (can't tell where it starts) and fast repair.

Not as fresh. Had to take the leopard for a couple of long drives to see if miss was fixed (it wasn't), and then I had to drive the skyline for a few days while I changed the coil packs, etc. So they're both a touch dirty. Will be fine with a wash though.

....then they will no doubt get dirty again on the 400km trip out to gundi. :(

    • Realised I never posted this , also I never got a price
    • I'm glad to hear you've joined the SKI club. Spend the Kids Inheritance.
    • I have a VALCON if anyone wants it, I have no idea why you'd want to have VVT specifically broken out of the ECU as opposed to running it off the FCON/whatever standalone you have.
    • Hi Yes we're a bit optimistic we might get something out of sealing up the two pipes of the external wastegate and reactivating the stock one. I believe the orginal stock wastegate was tack welded shut. It doesn't budge and visually looks closed and sealed. The car has noticeably more lag so it could be at least part of the problem, maybe all. It's definately one of the key changes made since last tune. And it's one that's more difficult to fully understand and measure, not like for instance timing or cylinder compression.  Thanks for that feedback, we'll let you know how this progresses. Fingers crossed.   Regards Rob
