I got from the valley to home (bray park) along old northern road with no issues, on the radio at work they were goin on about how the valley was flooded we drove most of it and couldn't find a road under at 12pm today. There was more water flooding the roads at high tide yesterday then there was today at high tide. Lets see if i have to work tomorrow.

Oh if anyone on the northside wants somewhere safe to store there car send me a pm, no chance of getting flood waters where i am. Well most of brisbane would be under water if we did get flooded

Success! Got home and house (and cars) are OK :).

Low level brisge is out, upper brindge is split-laned.

Both under water now... Going to go for a ride and check it out.

I live near the river, but im about 6-7 m above bank level it is expected to only go about 1m above that so im not overly worried

Sounds like its going to hit a lot higher now! They just said 22m on the TV. I hope you guys are going to be OK, get your important stuff out and get to higher ground.

Afternoon all

Work's fine, house is fine, dads house (where I'm housesitting for around a month) is fine.

Chermside closed down, only the supermarkets are still open now. Gonna head down soon and get some supplies in case the supply route is out of action for the next few days/weeks

forget the shops

i went at midday and all the bread/milk and such items were gone... none left at all...

people were going crazy, the softdrinks isle and chips were empty and the line to get to the checkout was over an hour at midday...

i heard on the news most supermarkets are closing at 4pm due to lack of stock and personal staff needing to leave...

Petrie woolies still open and plenty of stock...

...unless you want bread, milk, eggs, meat, or vegetables.

Oh well, I have a loaf of bread in the freezer. NFI how old it is, but it'll do for sammiches for lunch :)

Just got home from work. Had to go back and sandbag the office and get all the files and computers out of there. I'm still in tomorrow at 6:30 though lol. See how we go tomorrow. My mate has had a look at the map and found that our place is right on the edge of the floodwaters so i might need a place to store the car lol.

try get in, but if water is on the road don't bother.

That's what she said.

Yeah Colin, the inner west will be rooted if it goes 70's spec. Move your car if you can.

We all have to go in at 8 to lay tarps and put down more sandbags. I'm wondering if I'll be able to even get there if Kedron Brook keeps rising...

    • Hello, I am looking to replace my two rear drive shafts in my R34 N/A Skyline but I'm finding conflicting information. Do S13/S14/S15 or R32 NA/ R33 NA fit? https://justjap.com/products/gsp-premium-rear-drive-shaft-l-h-nissan-silvia-s13-s14-s15-3x2-type?currency=AUD&srsltid=AfmBOoqY7EwDaYCUoUU3mxxZ_qrUXkVVHiV4MIN7ozoar6scjnEiekv- would this fit?
    • Hoping they release an R34 getrag pull type.
    • You need the bottom spacers, to make it a 3/4 height injector. https://www.efihardware.com/products/3040/injector-adapter-lower-for-extended-nose-injectors   And you'll need to buy the right injector bosses, these "might" fit. You'll need to measure it up. https://www.nzefi.com/product/raceworks-lower-injector-mounting-boss-kit-for-r33-rb25det-s14-s15-sr20det/
    • Unless there's something particular about the Greddy manifold's injector holes that I'm not aware of, those injetcors look to be totally wrong. They would absolutely want to be spaced up to get those long snouts out of the runner. Which, I think, is not usually the way that that problem is solved. I think the problem is solved by using the correct injectors, which would be much more like what Andrew posted.
    • Thanks for the reply, So i've continued playing around, and fitted the injector adaptors onto the injector, the fuel rail is not able to be mounted now as the injectors sit a bit further out. I suppose the point of the adaptors is so that the injector nozzle isn't so deep into the intake? I suppose 1mm extra on the o-ring would do it but still can't mount the rail onto the intake haha. Waiting on a reply from Aeroflow I'm sure there's something stupid that I'm missing...
