Track day fail. My top end is boned :D

FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

mate what happened??

ur coming out thursday yeh?

or is she that f**ked :)

Thursday, we'll have to see. Might be able to come a bit later. Thursday nights are generally not good for me.

Its not totally f**ked, but I might stop driving it just to be safe. I've got another car if it comes to that. You guys will love it :)

Dunno what happened, its just sounds really loose. Nasty tapping noise. Possibly smashed a lifter shim. We also suspect it has 33 cams in it, which would not be a good thing. If not, its an entire 33 head which would mean i got ripped :D. Won't be able to tell till I pull it apart and check it out.

hahahaha - man doing mine took f**king ages

just pic a pre-shimmed dif from option 1

i believe their pretty cheap

Your slack. My Noosa mates can knock one out in less then half a day.

If im buying anything I'll just buy a real diff :D

not at $300 they're not.

man up and buy a 1.5 or 2 way

I would. You can buy a 2nd hand Mech diff for that money.

Skid it until the stock one dies.

It runs a to4, so i'll f**k something quick enough

    • I finally figured this out. That green part, can actually be pushed out. Mine was on the wrong angle because I messed around with it. So what needs to be done is the clockspring to be removed (the loom can't be removed so you need to pull the cable towards you to remove it off the shaft then let it rest on something so it's not dangling) Then you just make sure that the 3 green dots form a triangle and that the 3 holes on the steering wheel inserts into the 3 holes on the green part (you need to push out the green part to do this otherwise you'll keep having the issue with the indicators not cancelling)
    • Welcome back, If looking for a quality workshop AK Racing are the go to for everything these days. No fancy socials or attention seeking just quality work and good people. Can do everything from general servicing to full race builds that do very well at local and international events.
    • Let me know how much you're looking to get! Thanks.
    • Oh very very true ! I'm honestly thinking about taking my entire R33 series 3 red stitch GTR interiour out of my car, selling it and buying a small house !  I spotted as pair of R400 GTR seats on GumBay on the interweb and they were asking around the 12K mark !
    • A few pop up now and then, but you're right, definitely not as often or as cheap as it was back then. Even non GTR seats are a joke these days, pretty sure you could have gotten one for a zinger box or pack of Winnie blues.
