there are two pipes that run underneath the waterline for the turbo.

one of them is leaking coolant .. my mechanic knows dick all about them and needs a photo of the rear of a rb25 out of a car or a blueprint or soemthing so that he knows where the water is coming from or watever.

plus i jsut pu a big f-off turbo in on the weekend and i havn't got to thrash it yet becoz of this.

SO PLEASE help!

if anyone can give me pic. or lead me in direction of soemthign i can print out to explain the water system inbetween the block and the firewall

Maybe the car doesn't want you to drive it :)

I vote you get a new mechanic who knows what he is looking at.

If you just put a new turbo on, and the coolant line to the turbo is leaking, then check the line and the fitting? you might not have connected it properly?

I think i know the line you are referring to, it runs a metal pipe off the turbo and then goes to a rubber hose behind the rocker covers, it runs to the back of the inlet manifold. If so its a little bit of a pain to get off, although it would most likely have been taken off to fit your turbo. If it is leaking from the metal part i would suggest thinking about getting a braided line made up to allow for more flex due to the different size/position of the turbo. Hope it helps.
