Hey everyone.

Need help finding some parts wether there after market items or Nissan items.

after having a go at fast, with no prevail, i need to find out where to get all replacement ballpoints for front and rear LCA and the Hicas joint, which is on the hub not the actual hicas unit.

Also im wondering how and where to replace the bearings in the hubs? or have u got to purchase a complete assembly from nissan? I gather there just a press fit, mainly interested on the front hubs as i have the rears out (4bolts) that was easy, front not so easy. I do have a hydralic press / jack aswell so makes life easier.

And whats everyones recomendations on wheel studs? And what do i ask the lovely knowitall repco man, who when u say skyline roll their eyes.

Thanks,

Dave

Hey joel thanks for the reply.

im in brisbane. what sizes do i need. 93 r32 gtst front and rear all 4. and how hard is it to replace them? i gather there just a press fit on a shaft.

have u personally done this? nissan i think would want at least 100-150 for the hub.?

cheers,

okay well that covers the hub bearing part.

now the balljoints. after searching google again, i found the following link.

http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/64946-hicas-arm-ball-joint.html

and the balljoint part #NIS5515430P00 < this seems to be the hicas balljoint, now i just need to find the control arm balljoints.

i played with fast again, think im working it out.

it seems that you cannot buy the balljoint on its own for the front LCA.

rear lca is listed - 43173

as is Hicas - 55154

thats all i can find out. id rather go aftermarket, as nissan is a joke $$$.

cheers,

D
