does it come with any sort of display / knock warning alarm or anything like that ? What's that neo ignition chip all about? I'm interested but it's over my budget

the chip is for check engine light and something to do with coilpacks ( you do need it though)

and no it doesnt come with a display you use it thru your laptop

the laptop does have knock display though when tuning

ah thanks .. so it could be something like the pfc check engine light thing where it flashes if it detects knock while ur driving ? I've read about the coilpack issue ie. R34 needs an ignition adapter to stop coils from frying, this comes included right ?

ignition chip (which stops the r34 neo coil packs frying) is included as it says in his first post.

you've also got knock control with the emanage. there is a way to wire in the knock sensors to an auxiliary input and have this retard timing if it senses knock above a certain reading. Trent (URAS) is an emanage maestro, he'll be able to point you in the right direction.

no it doesnt flash engine light

your tuner should tune it so it doesnt knock anyway

yes this has the adapter included

and it is wired into a cable so you can plug it straight in
