Manuel Kasko
But the SS1PU would be more snappy and responsive wouldn't it? kingtube69
Hi Guys, Is it better to run vacuum off the compressor housing to the boost controller or block that off and run it from the stock location in R33s (intercooler pipe?) My ATR45SAT has it on the compressor housing and a friend with a similar turbo just blocked off his compressor housing one and ran as per above. Thanks! Manuel Kasko
I don't think it really matters, both are a pressure source and both are very close to each other. kingtube69
Thanks Dan, I read something similar just wanted to double check. Another question - Does anyone know what size the studs are on the Hypergear ATR45 turbo dump side - I understand that most are actually bolts but there are two studs also. Manuel Kasko
Should be m8 x 1.25 But someone else will have to confirm I'm correct. Part numbers are: Dump->turbo studs: 14414-17F00 Dump->turbo nuts: 14432-0B700 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-turbochargers-and-high-flow-services-development-thread/page/559/#findComment-7618956 Share on other sites

DJBarnstar
Can you make a kit for the SS1PU that will fit an RB26? Asking as I will be running E85 and 350 - 390 is plenty for me. Thanks. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-turbochargers-and-high-flow-services-development-thread/page/559/#findComment-7619121 Share on other sites
89CAL
I'm interested in how much to upgrade SS2 will cost, The new one sounds unreal and mine is due for a retune with E85 and new injectors when I can get all the parts together and on the car so the thought of upgrading turbo sounds good to me Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-turbochargers-and-high-flow-services-development-thread/page/559/#findComment-7619225 Share on other sites

Manuel Kasko
Hey Stao, when you get back just so you don't miss my question but will the SS1PU be more snappy and responsive than the SS2? Plus more responsive than say the OP6? 89CAL
the power bug, clearly we both have more than enough power but noooooo let's make more LOL Haha. Honestly, mine is probably about perfect for driving around town, which is pretty much all it does. But now that we have E85 on pump, i know im going to make more power so may as well make a bit more on top of that Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-turbochargers-and-high-flow-services-development-thread/page/559/#findComment-7619312 Share on other sites

I find with the SS2 I need to drop it down to 2nd around certain bends, then bam I have too much torque/power and it's dori & smoke LOL. However it's tits on the straight at Wakefield, I over take cars like no tomorrow haha.. here's a good clip of just that: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-turbochargers-and-high-flow-services-development-thread/page/559/#findComment-7619434 Share on other sites

chiksluvit
So response wise Ss1>old ss2>op6 high flow? Or ss1> op6 high flow> ss2? Watching Johnnys video it looks like the op6 picks up earlier? Dose Pipe Sutututu
my SS2 is lags, it's nothing nothing nothing then ALL IN like a rocket ship LOL these days I drop it back into 2nd on that last turn to keep the revs above 4k 4 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-turbochargers-and-high-flow-services-development-thread/page/559/#findComment-7619984 Share on other sites
chiksluvit
Hrm with the op6 high flow you'll also need to keep the rev above 3.5-4K to make it go like a rocketship 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-turbochargers-and-high-flow-services-development-thread/page/559/#findComment-7620013 Share on other sites
