just so u know most insurance companies frown on non-certified installers fitting alarms. just a thought that could save alot of hassles.

retail for a yellow line autowatch is 349 blueline is 499.

in the competitive world out there, these can be bargained down to some extent. i know we have done them at 449 many times.

and get the blue line as the ultrasonics are worth it

If you are getting a good car why do you put a crappy cheap dodgy alarm, get a top of the range alarm as good car = thief bait

exactly - protect ur investment.

dont buy those dogde ones with pagers et al. they are frought with problems like false alarms and are a general pain.

go for a trusted brand. ... autowatch, laserline, cyclops

autowatch is nice, but they dont' have remote engine option.

the microwave mmmm I never try it before no theft approach.

other than that the proctection is good with immobiliser etc

immobiliser is ok alarms are better, especially if u have a stereo etc

i dont have an autowatch im my hr30 yet .... shes a few months off being ready

but i know for a fact autowatch makes the autostart alarm ..... i sell them.

u can order the upgrade kit from autowatch if its still in stock --few new modules and new remotes.

heres the catch --- it makes the alarm illegal and it voids your insurance. this is due to the car being able to run without anyone in it.... a friend learnt the hard way.

in my opinion, its cool but can u afford to have no insurance.

most people cant its a shame most places dont reveal this info before making the sale.

autowatch does have a new alarm coming out with an inbuilt turbo timer, which might pass as legal (pending some testing)

once i talk to Sandro (autowatch rep for wa) ill let ppl know.
