I call shenanigans.

For the cost of trying to fit a complete R35 drivetrain into a Z33 chassis....you may as well have just bought a complete R35. I could almost understanding fitting a VR38DETT into a Z33 and running it in pure RWD mode, but if you're going to retain the transaxle and AWD there's no pro in putting it in a Z33, and plenty of cons.

I know of a guy in Qld who is building a monster Z33. Drivetrain out of a V35 AWD, and with a properly built VQ. At least the platform for the drivetrain are the same, so the bits mostly fit.

its bs no pics no proof too hard a job too soon in the game the big companys in japan wont even touch the thing with a long stick yet not for serious mods anyway but if it is true then i would def look at mating up a holinger or getrag style box with a gearset to the engine as these transmissions are a pain to maintain and i don't think they would last too long under race/track conditions
