Im not sure if this has happen to anyone. But either way I though it was worth mentioning. First a brieft history of what happend:-

Sat night: I was driving the car for about an hour and as I was pulling into the car park, the horn just kept of going off. I though it was stuck so I started hitting it but it still went on an on so I had no choice but to disconnect the horn wires.

Sun: I opened the drivers door and my eyes started burning and tearing at the same time all I could smell was gas. Not sure where its from but it was constant and to the point where I had to get out of the car after 5 seconds. A firend got into the car and did the same thing so its not just me.

Then: I left the windows down for a couple of days without driving the car. now the smell is gone but the airbag light is solid Red and Im not sure what means. obviously there's something wrong with it.

might be a short in your steeringwheel with the metal piece thats balancing the wheel detatching itself and touching your horn contacts. Has been left shorting out overnight producing fumes possibly. Take your airbag out to check. Make sure you know how to take it out before attempting it. There is a DIY on it and numerous threads. do a search.
