$400 for lipos? U planning on racing or something? Or was that a few batteries. Ive seen plenty of well prices lipos online that will do the job for drifting, and a lot cheaper than the LHS wants for the same thing

That's for 1x charger and 1x 4600mah 2S lipo.. a tad under $400..

Yeh I do but i highly doubt he'll part out the body with the kit and even if he did you'd be looking at a VERY large amount for the body alone

As for Lipo's. They are cheap nowadays. Just make sure you look after them as I've heard of Lipo's exploding

Lipo's are a bit dangerous, overcharge them and they burn your house down. For that reason I wouldn't skimp on a cheap charger and also, for cars you need hard shelled lipos.

There is also the thing about them not being able to be shipped by air due to how dangerous these rc lipos can be (all the reputable hobby stores online refuse to ship lipos internationally). They're not like the simple lipos in mobile phones etc.

Lastly, I have a really flash brushless motor.. why would I use some 2nd rate dodgy battery?

I have been thinking bout getting one for ages but need a nice 34 4 door shell, or chaser etc. Hard to come by.
