Parking brake light

Anybody know why the parking brake light would go on and off while driving? When I first noticed it, I thought my hand brake was not all the way down and made sure but the light still stayed on and then goes away. I do know my parking brake needs to be adjusted but it never did this before. Any ideas from anybody are welcome. Thanks!

take a look at the push switch just under the handbrake. ( take off centre console by removing screws on either side.) To adjust the park brake, just tighten the little nut on the end of the cable, when you access the switch....if you only need to tighten the handbrake that is

if the swithch is alright, might have to look at the circiut on the back of the dashcluster.

Top up your brake fluid and your problems will be over.

Even if it looks as though the reservoir is around or over half, top it up. The handbrake warning light also warns you when brake fluid has dropped.
