hi, i have a r32 that was imported in 2008 and i guess due to that reason it has a fair bit of rust under the car, mainly the bolts

would it be worth wild getting someone to treat all the rust ? has anyone had it treated before? how much did it cost?

would the rust still come back after it has been taken out?

RUST = NOT GOOD!

I've had rust treated on my Prelude. And the cheapest way was to ask your local mechanic if he's treated rust before and whether or not he has nikki (or bog) and anti-rust primer. Any underbody work should be able to be attended to this way.

This is a cheaper way than thru your panelbeater in most cases.

But if the rust is thru' to the painted panels, the panelbeater is probably the best way to go (to make it look like new) and get a smooth colour match.

Ask if there's any discount for cash (after being quoted).
