Engine Stalling D:

Guy Please help, everytimei accel. then let go my rpm drops to 500rpm then back up to idle rpm... or it completely stalls.. can someone please tell me what the problem..? i just got my skyline so i need all the help !

Do you have an after market BOV that vents to the air?

If you do, then that's your problem.

yeah i just installed a blitz blow off valve.. after i installed that, this problem came up .. how do i fix this?

Just use the "allan" key to slowly adjust and tighten it up. Until you feel the car dosent stall. Use to happen to me when the car just install with a blitz BOV.

u cant also get a SAFC it corrects the problems and gets u some more power air/fuel ratio wise...but yess tighten the BOV but make sure it aint too tight otherwise it wont vent properly

hmmm, i ve tighten it heaps and its still doing it "abit"...

Not adjusting the RPM. But on the BOV itselft use the "ALLAN" key to adjust the tightness. Hope this help

thanks guys, i tried adjusting BOV and its all fine now.. does it after i drive for a while but its alright i guess, thanks heaps

whut i did was i reset my ECU and it solved the problem

arggg.... if i reset my ECU, my airbag light would flash then im going to have to bring it to nissan factory..

u cant stop it doing it fully it does help but not perfectly the only way to do it is get a plump back BOV which does help but if it gets serious a SAFC of similar does help. But there is ways to prevent it from stalling if it does different ways of using the clutch etc etc...takes time to perfect it.

Weird. When I took my S-AFC off the car got better at not stalling. This is compared to whether I had the Dec.Air settings on or off on the S-AFC. Very very odd!

the dec air function on the safc does nothing!

and those blitz bovs sux's, i removed mine and the car drove so much better with it.
