Ok Iv been trying to work out the best set up for my stagea,I would like around 220+250awkw with out it going bang!Im not sure what the safe max awkw power is on stock internals,I no on a 33 about 270rwkw seems to be safe but how does that power translate to awkw?also the attessa runs like 90% of the power to the rears from what I understand?so if thats the case then it should mean that around 243awkw is the safe bet for awd?

so at the moment its got a full 3 1/2 cat back 3inch single dump+cat and a manual coversion, pod, splitfires.

What about to go on

GT3071r-direct bolt on from horsepowerinabox stock manifold

neo hi flowed injectors

walbro 500hp pump

hybrid fmic

apexi power fc

z32 afm

e boost 2

custom C.A.I

and thats about it iv been told this will only make around 200awkw??

that seems a bit shit house to me and not really worth it,so what does every one else think, and whos got what to get say 230+250awkw?? any advise would be good.

cheerz

how much boost are you going to run?

I agree with VSpec-Boy - from the setup you are going to put in - you should eaisly run 250 - 270 awkws IMO it would be also dependent on how much boost your going to run

I'm installing a HKS 2535 on my car (the only other mods so far are Stealth FMIC, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, Bltz Boost Controller and soon to be installed Nistune ECU) and I've been told I can get 235-250 awkw at 16psi so you should denfitely get more with your setup

My best advise is when its all installed and in the tuning process - tell them what you want to get out of it and they should be able to tune to pretty much what you want

The RB25DET neo definitely has GTR rods - I don't know what else - so it will take a bit more than the S1. The mods you have in mind should get you more than 230AWKW - I don't know the capability of the turbo you have.

The key to getting good results is a top tuner. I know of 3 or 4 in my city but I am not sure where you are exactly but if you read through the general skyline pages you will find people who are highly recommended like Anthony (Guilt Toy), Trent etc. For example it seeems the PFC tends to exaggerate knock readings so some tuners don't screw up the advance as much as they could - and airflow and advance seem the key to getting the most from your package.

I would think the next step (apart from a bigger turbo) would be to port and polish the head and get a set of poncams.

a HPIAB GT3071 will probably be choked by the factory turbine housing.

so realistically this will top out around 250rwkw give or take a few.

at all four, the numbers don't change that much as the rear wheels are being driven mostly but conservatively you will get 230-240awkw is my guess.

with that turbo you will not exceed the engine's reliability threshold unless you tune it poorly.

Im putting in a FMIC, bosch 023 fuel pump and bleed valve (up the boost to about 12psi). Ive already got a pod filter and a 3" turbo back exhaust with a resonator. Then just finish it off with a remap and I've been told to expect anywhere between 210-240awkw.

The biggest contributor to your power increase will be the exhaust and upping the boost. The pod and FMIC won't make any difference and the bigger fuel pump will provide you with a safety margin but no more power. I doubt you will top 200 AWKW. What are you remapping? Have you got an aftermarket ecu? If you want a significant power increase you will need a bigger turbo or at least highflow the stocker with new internals...steel wheels etc. Then you will get some benefit from the FMIC.

you all seem a little bit optimistic with your power out puts 210-240awkw with no after market ecu?

i can only give advise on my own experience power-fc, front mount, 3" exhaust, dump pipe, 10psi, 044 bosh fuel pump.

gives me 200awkw my now problem is airflow meter is maxed out and need a bigger one (stupid power-fc) and my injectors need replacing as there up the pointy end of there duty cycle. what i did find out is the neo will never make as much power as a 33 as the neo come with smaller injectors plain and simple need more fuel to make more power.

has anybody found out if rb25 injectors fit the rb25neo?

the injectors on the R33 and R34 are both 370cc.

the R33 injectors are sidefeed, the R34 (neo) are topfeed and are therefore not interchangeable.

ps. a standard turbo usually puts out around 200rwkw (+/- approx 10kw) with most of the usual basic mods and engine management.

240awkw @ 12psi through a massive hiflow, stock internals.

Will be shooting for 280awkw+ as soon as I get some bigger injectors.

Check the Forced Induction area, URAS has found some aftermarket replacement injectors for our Neo engines. I am waiting on a price from the supplier.

where are you getting your hi flowed injectors and what specs are they flowed to??? i am having trouble sourcing neo injectors looking for around 550 - 600 cc

not 100% sure iv been told they will flow double the standard so, 680cc?any injection place can hi folw em for ya as far as i know.

around 15+20 pound should do the trick,Iv decided to scrap the horsepowerinabox set up for a gcg turbo kit works out aroud the same $ buy the time I get a custom intake pipe, lines, so for a bit more it comes with every thing, split dump, lines, intake, clamps, silicone hoses adaptor plate 3076r is what they recomend and say it will easy make 255awkw, so soundz like the go

Rather than highflowed injectors an easier and cheaper fix is to fit an adjustable fuel pressure regulator (provide you have a grunty fuel pump) and up the pressure a little. I was making around 200AWKW with the standard injectors running at no more than 85% duty. the long term answer for bigger power is bigger injectors (say 550).

You can run a lot more than 200awkw on stock injectors.. mine maxed at 260awkw (15psi through this turbo) so dropped it back to 12psi (240awkw) until I get some bigger ones. I saw mention of hiflow injectors costing $150each.. I paid $160each for brand new Denso injectors for my 32.. no way in hell I'm paying $150 each for some monkey to doctor my stock Neo injectors!

How much power on a stock engine? Here is a real life answer from "Lith" a Kiwi with a Skyline with a decent sized turbo running modest boost:

I have been running around using the car pretty much as a daily with around 270rwkw for over two years/near 40,000km - I made that power on about 1bar of boost and the car came back from a compression test a couple months or so ago with really even compression so I think its fair to say thats a pretty safe level for an RB25.

I have mates with ~220rwkw 25ts and jumping from one of their cars into mine the step from 220kw to 270kw really is a fairly big jump, I reckon its not being greedy (so long as the tune is fine a stock RB25 loves it!) but still gives your right foot a pretty decent amount to play with without being ridiculous so I can't help but think of it as a perfect happy medium.

I am positive you can make more than that fine but I haven't found it necessary

I got mine $65 exchange I was gond buy some sard injector for $1300 so for almost a grand less thats another 22 cases of beer for me to drink :P
