EGA41T
you all seem a little bit optimistic with your power out puts 210-240awkw with no after market ecu?i can only give advise on my own experience power-fc, front mount, 3" exhaust, dump pipe, 10psi, 044 bosh fuel pump. gives me 200awkw my now problem is airflow meter is maxed out and need a bigger one (stupid power-fc) and my injectors need replacing as there up the pointy end of there duty cycle. what i did find out is the neo will never make as much power as a 33 as the neo come with smaller injectors plain and simple need more fuel to make more power. has anybody found out if rb25 injectors fit the rb25neo? matt is right, when modding my stagea my power was quite low with all my mods, 125kw before the power fc was installed which shot it straight up to 200.9rwkw Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/262580-max-safe-awkw-on-stock-internals/page/2/#findComment-4618820 Share on other sites
pixel8r
To get any decent power increase (ie. >30kw) you will need tuning - at least just to keep it from running way too rich. And to go anywhere over 180-200rwkw you'll need a bigger intercooler & possibly fuel pump. Anywhere over 200kw will probably require a larger turbo. I found that after around 160awkw things can start to get quite expensive. Also note, the difference between awkw and rwkw on these cars is not that much. In my experience it works out to about 20kw difference. That difference is not a percentage, so it doesn't increase (much? at all?) as the power increases. At over 300rwkw the difference might be slightly more, but I'd guess that 330rwkw is around 300awkw. The reason awkw is lower is due to the drivetrain losses - ie. the extra load caused from driving the front wheels. This extra load does not increase as you increase power, so therefore awkw will always be ~20kw less than rwkw.
