"High ranked racing figures" would never talk down upon anyone, even if hes a big twat, simply because it would hurt their professional standing. Nobody ever called Tony Longhurst a wanker, even tho hes one of the biggest dickheads that ever got behind the wheel. Nobody spoke out about him, even when he was punching his team mate in the head after a spill.

I have read the entire thread buddy, and I'm sorry but I can hardly see your argument carrying any weight in regards to anti webber sentiment being anything regarding tifosi fanaticism. As to dropping in to threads as a hero, you seem to have perfected the art of keyboard heroism. Come down some time, we'll see if your rhetoric matches reality. I think its hardly any wonder that when I do see people in person, your name and the adjective 'wanker' seem to get mentioned in the same breath. Indeed. Ferrari (while I'm not a fan) are the ONLY company in the world that build road legal sports cars for the simple fact that it helps to fund their racing. They have and always will be a primarily racing oriented organization, which is why they get the loyalty which no other team gets. Ferrari fans are called "Tifosi" (Fanatics) for a very good reason.

2/3's of every dollar spent on a road going/consumer ferrari goes directly to Ferrari's F1 and other racing ambitions.

I don't slander Alonso because he was put up to it from his team principle.... Webber and Jacques has no excuse other than they're both f**king useless F1 drivers who seized an opportunity for a 1 grid place jump because they couldn't do it on track. Kind of reminds me when Mark opened his stupid mouth and declared that he was going to give the drivers championship an run for it's money even though no one had seen Ferrari test over that winter.....

Honda and Jaguar pulled out of F1....Ferrari could have followed but considering that all Ferrari are interested in are super/sportscars that will be the last thing they wanna do...

McLaren will face the World Motor Sport Council this week over the whole Australian GP 'lie gate' incident. I have a suspicion that the penalty is going to be a pretty sever one considering McLaren are still on probation for the famous spy saga.... I'm hoping their verdict is directed at the team (hit them in the pocket) rather than making the sport suffer if they hand the team a ban/disqualification of some sort......

but hitting them in the pocket wont make much of a difference...i would say that Mclaren should be given a 3 round ban or something like that.....so in the future other teams wont dare try doing that.....if you hit them in the pocket steve they can always get that money back...but if you put a ban on testing or something then the cars/team goes back a long way in comparison to other team/cars

1) all i wanted to do was understand why he had such a hate towards said driver, its a free country as you pointed out so thus is why i was asking

2) you are exactly right! if ferrari did pull out f1 as we know it would be stuffed, people would stop watching (namingly italians who feel somehow bonded with ferrari). but this is why i always said they hinted because the public, media and FIA know the reprocussions of not agreeing with the prancing horse

3) you say your not having a go but check what ya wrote mate, then realise what has been said in the thread. from the begining all i wanted to know was why talbo's opinion how it is. then ben got on his tuff guy keyboard and flaired the sittuation out of control. now i dont see you questioning him or anyone else? i recognise im partially in the wrong here, ive spammed the thread and argued with ben and talbo, but recognise other parties involved or just plain shut up

now i hope that clears it up cause like ive said above, im done with it, i got what i wanted to achieve which could have just been said in the first place....... and i wouldnt of had to fight it out of the sad old man but such is life.

ok so back on topic; i agree with talbo, to ban mclaren from however many rounds will hurt the round, mclaren are like ferrari and have a vast array of very loyal fans and so does lewis. if there not racing then potentially these fans wont watch/attend, and not to mention the effect on the drivers, it would essentially close shut any chance hamilton has of maintaining his WC.

im not sure what penalty should be taken as money is often not an issue for these guys
