Hi guys

As in the pic, I have Whiteline front camber bushes installed

Lately, after driving on some rough roads, I have noticed a front knock or creaking noise coming out of the the front passenger's side

So I jacked the car up, and found that the bolt is coming loose. i.e. the bolt that goes through the control arm and upper bush.

I tightened the right side up and the noise is gone.

A few weeks after, same deal, drive on shitty roads, and then noise starting coming back. Jacked the car up, bolt is looser (not as loose as the first time), tightened back up, sound is gone.

Is this bolt one piece? is there a chance that it has snapped in the middle somewhere and hence is coming loose?

The left side nuts seem to be on tight.

Any ideas would be much appreciated

Thank

It is not one bolt. It is two bolts. One from either end. The left hand bolt reaches the end of the bushes thread & therefore allows the bush to be rotated as required. The lock nut then holds it in place. The right hand bolt is there to hold the other half to the upper link. It doesn't reach the end of the bushes thread.

Do it up to the correct torque. Just be carefull not to rotate the bush as it will stuff your wheel alignment.

It is not uncommon with these kits.

Ah I see

So the yellow bushes have a metal sleeve in the middle with a threaded section that the end of the bolt goes into?

Are these bushes ones with offset centres?

Argh confused, have to find a diagram somewhere =P

I found the left part a tiny bit loose too so tightened that up, it maybe only move 1/8th of a turn, dont think the bushes moved.

So its common? is there a common fix as well?

Thanks!!
