Gday all,

I've been trying to get a definitive answer to the question - how do we remove the headlights on a S2 R33?

I've heard you need to remove the front bar, is that true?

Has anyone done it without removing the bar first?

How long would it take someone to do?

Many thanks! :D

Before anyone says it - yes, i did a search. I can only find guys asking how to remove the bulbs... i don't need that, i want to remove the entire headlight assembly. :D

Front bar off,

Remove 10mm bolt from side of headlight (near the parker light) its connected to the fender.

Remove grill

Remove 10mm bolt from top of headlight

Remove 10mm bolts from rear of headlight (refer to pic circled in red) the gtst should have 2 on the rear if I remember correctly.. My pic is off a GTR.

Unplug the connector

Done.

Cheers,

Johno

you can do it without removing the bar.

take whichever plastic wheel arch covers off

unbolt one 10mm bolt that holds bracket to chassis indicated in the circled pic above below the indicator side

then remove all the other obvious bolts and screws inside the enginebay

done.

Once you know what yoru doing you dont need to remove the wheel arch covers.
