Gtr, Split Hose Off End Of Actuator. Car Pinged A Few Times.

ive only just noticed why my car (r33gtr)has pinged a few times. i have a split hose off the end of my actuator and running very high boost.

was pinging quite bad a few times. i didnt know what the go was til i took it to my mechanic.

my tuner rekons it still sounds healthy and im not in trouble. when u drive off boost or half boost to redline it revs perfect still.

Am i in trouble or is it ok still? How would i know

It still goes broooooooooooooooooom, psshhhht, broooooom, pssshhht, screeeeeeeeeech!

50% of the time or more when a engine goes pop the the cause of the blow up is something that happened to engine months or even years ago.

be carefull. i would do some checks etc

all fixed . had a split actautor hose. no more ping ping

get a leakdown test all the same, no more ping but damage might already have been done, do it!
