Hi guys,

I am in need of some sound advice from those that have already gone down the upgrade road...

I have a r33 1997 v spec gtr with;

power fc

Profec B elect boost

Custom hi flow cat and exhaust

Pods

I have just brought:

HKS Adjustable cam gears

Garrett -5 (n1 style)turbos

Trust front pipe

I need to know if it is vital to purchase injectors, fuel pump, fuel reg? Anything else i forgot? From what I can gather dumps will be ok at this setup and possibly pumps etc...

The car will get full install from powerplay - sydney, and then dyno tuned. Looking for more responsive car good power.

Any help appreciated.

definitely get injectors, fuel pump and reg not THAT necessary as long as its a safe tune. But the question is how much power do you want?

And if i got adjustable cam gears i would definitely want to do a fuel pump and reg to get the most out of the car.

Thanks, Any particular type of injectors and pump? I am being told only nismo for both?

talk to your tuner before you go buying anything mate , if theyr'e any good they will be able to tell you what will be necessary :P . note: i've noticed that alot of people don't stop and think about the smaller servicable items on this site (i.e oxy sensor , fuel filter, temp sensor etc) , before you go trying to upgrade your engine have a think about the last time these were changed and whether it might be a good time to do so :P

640 or are they 660 cc nismos would do the job for stock bottom end safe power, fuel pimp definately, those turbos are good for more than you will want to safely throw down the stock motors throat but afms (if u did not go djet) would limit gains I think to 300rwkw,so may want to consider z32 or equiv.

I would also consider catch can and cam cover baffles.
