How much does your Skyline weigh??

Minds in need of a diet. Its @ 3400 pounds. Its a R33 GTST. Im guessing its overweight and farely heavy for a Skyline

There are wheighbridges everywhere. Most truck depots have em so all u gotta do is drive in the driveway and read the wheight off the sign, easy

RNS11z using that ratio it sounds about right for a r33 may be a little over weight , but the r33 is the heavier of all the skylines next to the gtr's.

When i got mine weighed to transfer rego to VIC, it came in about 1420kg with about 3/4 tank fuel and no people.

1,380kg for compliance with half a tank of gas + all the usual shit I have in the car.

I would imagine that my car is now down to 1,340kg or so?

What have you stripped from your car? They're 1360kg stock, so if you're 20kg up with shit in the car (and yourself?), then that's some nice weight loss.

I'm going carbon bonnet as well. My goal is low 1,300kg.

Rip off the aircon if you haven't already, they're about 30-40kg i think.. and the HICAS is maybe another 10kg. Would be interesting to see what a 1200kg R33 would do.

I'd do it once for interests sake down the drag strip - but its a bit of a prick putting it all back together again. Somebody should get out a set of kitchen scales and like pull everything off (door trims, centre console, blah) and weigh every component. Any volunteers?

You could maybe even DIY perspex side windows and things?? Would it be as simple as taking the old glass out, measuring it and getting perspex cut to shape?
