I am doing a turbo conversion to my rb25de. I am thinking of using a rb20det turbo and running 5psi to hit around 150kw with a really linear torque curve.

will I run into problems with boost creep? low boost on a small turbo on a large engine = lots of exhaust gas needs to be bypassed... the internal gate may not be able to cope...

any experiences would be appreciated!

dont waste ur time mate. the turbo that comes standard on the rb25 is too small for the motor so i wouldnt even waste ur time with an even smaller one. the standard rb25det turbo is extremely responsive as it, so puttin one on an N/A motor with even higher compression will make it spool even quicker. bolt a rb25 turbo on and keep the boost low n it should b fine. done forget u will need to change all the sensors on the engine to rb25det sensors and ecu for it to work
