i'll come around.. always keen for somethin like drinks, bbq, etc... somethin different than a normal cruise.. (i'm a female btw)

haha my misses cant stand to be in a fast car let alone around a group of them.

Well, since there has been such a good response may look at something around easter holidays. I'll talk to Whitey at EFI and see when his happy to have a group of us around for drinks etc and look at the new dyno. Keep your eyes out in the events sections.

Ill keep in contact with you Sam, id rather the dyno to be in so we can run afew car's up and show you our diagnostic equipment, and maybe afew power run's just for fun.

Look's like a good number, also carpark is secluded away from randoms and cop's.

Yeah i would be keen since there are a few new people, meaning i won't feel so left out :P

lol don't think my misses would come, she laughs at me when i mention a cruise to her :D

but yeah any time should be good for me and EFI place would be nice ;)

Capalaba - but i get around, inala, sunnybank (alot), carindale, garden city... everywhere...

i'm at uni everyday, so easter holiday would be good.

      A mate had this style seat from SAAS years ago and they were pretty comfy but the quality was not great especially after a few years. Have you looked some 86/BRZ seats? the seat warmer is great and I use it a lot. I just drove almost 2hours and no issues with comfort.

      I always find it both fascinating and educating seeing you go through all this. It's a bit like "BMWs are great. Except with one massive caveat: as long as you fix this two page long list of things where components are broken by design" Every now and then I consider getting a BMW. And then I read your posts and think that maybe the RB life is not so bad after all

      This is another issue I'm fixing. This little valve stops all the oil from draining to the sump when the engine is turned off. What happens eventually is that the engine is a little noisy and has the oil pressure light on for a few seconds after turning it on. Basically it takes a few seconds to build the pressure when all the oil has drained. This valve is a non serviceable part and is attached to the oil filter housing, BMW suggests to replace the entire housing if this valve fails.  As it turns out this valve can be removed and that means you can get an aftermarket replacement, which I did. The failure, for me at least is that the valve doesn't seat properly after a while, which I've demonstrated. The new one is a ball end and always seats properly.
