I have been lucky enough to get an entry and most looking forward to the super sprinting on the sunday. I am wondering what layout will be used? I'm keenly awaiting event details and a progeam of events. Should be a top weekend.

Was looking at entering this but missed the closing off date

Going to be a site of "Z's" and other nissans :/

Please post pics!

Hey mate, not too late to enter the NDN 09, log onto the Z club site download forms for event participation and supp regs for sprints sprints , you need to enter both, you can also do the 1/8 mile drags too, get all into post asap, closing next Tuesday. see www.zcarclubq.org.au

Look forward to seeing you at Warwick. Track being used for the Sunday sprints is the full length circuit, 2.1 kms, the z club site has a link page showing the track layout.

Dont forget practice/familiarasition and fun sessions being held on Friday from 11 am, safety gear required. Scrtineering for Sunday also being done on Friday

OSR220, look out for a silver 180sx Type X nice stock looking car, he has entered, also plenty of interstae entrants, even a few from Western Australia are making the trip.

WRXKILLA, get the forms downloaded fill'em out and post off ASAP, express post is best, remember you will need to enter the whole event to be able to run on the Sunday Sprints, it's a bit exxy but hey, 160 plus Nissans all in the one place, woot ya, ya gotta be a member of a CAMS car club, and have a level 2S licence, your car club secretary will write up a temporary 30 day one for you.

Oh well would of been a top weekend..Will be a must next time!!

81 entries for the Sunday Supersprints, ( 3 lap timeattack) R32's of Bottcher, Newman and Berry are entered, some very quick old school Dato 1600s, heaps of highly modified Zed cars, Including that RB30 det engined silver Zed, and plenty of pure race only cars, Competition starts at 9 am Sunday morning, till 4 pm, spectators free to come and watch the action, with a further 100 Nissan Datsuns on show in the pit area.

This isn't a drift or burnout event, but a pure speed meet.

Don't forget all welcome, entry free.

Where

Morgan Park Raceway, approx 8kms south east of Warwick, which is 150kms from Brisbane

Morgan Park complex is just off the Warwick to Killarney road. Easy to find

Should be an awesome weekend.

Michael

Thanks Michael, as long as you're CAMS level 2s or above licensed, and are a member of a CAMS car club, no probs, we'll look out for your entry forms in the box.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the National get-together of all the entrants, we've even got 1/2 dozen from WA, approx 20 fro SA, a few from Vic, heaps fron NSW, and plenty from Qld.

Dont forget, as part of your overall entry price, to NDN09 you get a goodies bag, ( hat/shirt/stubby cooler, blah blah) entry to the Sat show and shine in Warwick town centre, a BBQ on Frid, and a catered sit dowm meal on Sunday night, with some sort of entertainment, ( clean)

The track practice and familiaristaion is on Friday, at Morgan Park, from 11 am to 4pm, with scrutineering and document checking during the day.

Hmmm, me know plenty? Why? , Hmmm me event organiser!

lol

My only prob is that I am still waiting for CAMS to send back CAMS license. They know of the event and assure me it will arrive in time....

I just wrote 'tbc' on forms where cams license section is....

Hope this is okay?

Cheers & looking forward to having a blast somewhere else other than QR. :D

    • The NZ wiring kit is a 1/3 the price and will be perfectly fine for your application, I've ran one for 6+ years and many others have. Comes as a full plug into factory connector and the settings for a Link. https://www.nzwiring.com/index.php/product/trigger-kit/ Always comes back to the tuners knowledge and experience with a tuning platform. It takes years to become proficient and learning all aspects and capabilities. I've been using Links for 16 years now (rb and sr paltforms) and always learning something new with adding tables, diagnostics and data logging. Stay 98 for the usability and keep it simple so you can enjoy the car more. With experience I'll give you a current example of the industry I am in. They use Motec m190 and only use VE tuning when they have a torque mapping available and would solve the "PARITY" issues that plagues the category all because the muppet doing the tuning doesn't understand the platform or want to learn it and the product seller have no idea on its full capabilities ( I had a good laugh as when firing up an older car that just got completed and they didn't understand the injector scaling or how to change it for different fuel being used)
    • I'm sure there are specific hygrometers for it. But if you can just throw a high enough ranged temp sensor (theromcouple that came with your DMM, for example) into a pot of it on the BBQ, you can see when it boils.
    • I have multiple bottles in a shed that gets hot, and I'm in SEQ, so it's humid. Maybe we test their theory... Anyone have a system to accurately measure moisture content in oil?
    • Yeah, that and throwing away opened, part used, closed back up bottles has got to be bullshit. Brake fluid sits in not-very-well sealed master cylinder reservoirs for literal years and keeps working (albeit we know we should flush it every couple of years - it actually still works). Anything kept in a bottle in the shed with a tightly capped lid has got to be a million times better than what has been in the car for the same length of time.
    • Wait, they're claiming UNOPENED fluid has a shelf life of only 18 months?
