Dont bother with them,

Bought one for a mates GTI-R and it fit ... after a mammoth struggle to get it in there.

Bought one for my gtr and didnt come close to fitting, bottom tanks just massivly too thick either that or the bottom mounts are way off. Tried to fit it into mates r31 with more room than mine and also didnt fit. Since i bought it 3 months ago and it now has a slightly dinged up core from trying to make it fit i've just given up on it and written it off, doubt its worth contacting them as i dare say they wouldnt be interested in returning it / exchanging it.

ASI = fail :D

I bought a asi one for my gtr, too thick and cant run the shroud and the thread for temo sensor in bottom was wrong. Put it in the china shit pile and just bought a koyo, bolted right in like factory.

its the same thing with the large koyo rads (3 versions from memory), shroud modding etc.... even the $1000 jap one (largest avail) needed shroud work.

Just purchased there 52mm core radiator for my r32 gtst

The core alone is actually 56mm which made it almost impossible to fit

and the thread for the sensor does not fit either which didn't bother me

Ended up bending a shit load of fins installing it

Had to cut about 1 cm off the clutch fan to make it fit because i wanted to retain the stock shroud

Also had to take off the bottom bracket for the power steering lines

Wish i got the 42mm core from them which would of fitted perfectly

Not sure how it will hold up on the track but will find out shortly

'You get what you pay for'

Will post pics up tomorrow

Cheers

An old thread but i bought one of these today (the importer is my neighbour) and was surprised how thick it was. I could not fit it by just removing the OEM rad and shroud. Onc i removed the clutch fan it dropped straight in and bolted up fine. The temp sensor was also fine. So far so good. I think the quality may have improved as none of the welds looked dodge but only time will tell.

I killed my first one at eastern creek, the fan must have flexed 10mm near redline and contacted the fins at the bottom casing a massive leak.

I just installed my new one i ordered and unfortunately it is leaking from near the bottom tank even without pressure.

I have contacted asi and so far he has been replying without a drama and said he will swap it no problems. I am using a stock 32 radiator for now though and hoping for a refund

I bought one of these 18 months ago. My first one started leaking within 30 minutes of driving. I emailed the seller explaining the situation and he sent out a replacement immediately (also offered a refund), no questions asked. Didn't even ask me to send the faulty one back. Great customer service.

18 months later and it is still going strong and performing well in track duties.
