ok i have 2 decks with me, both 4x50w, 1 is pioneer with 1 set of RCA outputs, and the other is kenwood with 3 sets of RCA outputs 1 goes through the sub control. later on i was thinking of putting in a 4 channel amp and sub (please dont try compare diff types of subs and amps, i can get a 4channel amp and 12" sub for very cheap off a mate) so for the pioneer deck ill have to use 2 of those double adapter cables (1 male input, 2 female outputs) 1 for the red and 1 for the white, as for the kenwood deck the RCA's will plug straight in + ill have sub control. id rather be using the pioneer deck because its got an auxillary input in the front and the kenwood's face seems to half pop out when the face flips down.

would there be much of a difference in quality and performance of the system using the kenwood over the pionner the way im hooking it all up? if it helps ive got alpine type s splits in the front and rear.

Try Mobileelectronics Australia. I'd saying duplicating the pre out's wouldn't be the best idea.

I've got a Pioneer with USB that has 3 pre-out's, front, sub and rear is there, I'm only using front and maybe sub one day :)

I think the one with the sub control.

i had a pioneer with 1 set of RCA connected to my alpine V12 amp which powered 2 12" kickers and i didnt lik the way it was soundin. felt like i couldnt control the Sub sound and felt helpless lol

i currently have a pioneer with Sub control deh-p4050UB and it sounds really good with the 2 Kicker Subs.

i have never used a kenwood Deck, but would choose that since it has Sub control and (might have High pass filter and stuff). but its better you get someone elses opinion over this coz i really dont know bout Kenwood.

if the kenwood has 3 pre outs its obviously a better deck, and newer model with lots more flexibility for amps

use the kenwood mate. unless you plan on running just basic speakers in front with a small sub setup(either one will work for that) , anything more then that and you will want the extra options the Kenwood offers.

both are good brands. I have both myself Kenwood in R31, Pioneer in R34...lol
