Factory boost cut/fuel cut. I put a turbotech in after Christmas and same thing happened, at 12psi wouldn't rev all the way to redline. I went down to Mercury Motorsport, they said it was easy as to tune out, so I am going to get an ecu remap with them once I have put my intercooler in.

Til then I have just wound the boost down and staying away from redline as you can't be sure the air fuel mix is safe anyway. I'm not 100% sure on what actually causes it - You may be able to just get a fuel cut defender, but its probably worth getting a tune. My view is that unless my car is tuned to make use of all the mods I have done, I've just wasted money on buying them.

Regardless, I wouldnt recommend running over 12psi on stock turbo, unless you're happy to have it die. In that case maybe it isnt worth tuning til you blow it and upgrade to a high-flow or aftermarket.
