Well due to the fact that I am no longer working I cannot really afford to keep the car insured and on the road so it is up for sale. Will consider trades.

1995 R33 GTST Silver

45000klms

dual airbag

5sp Manual

Nismo dash with white backed gauges

Nismo leather gear knob

Apexi SAFC (not fitted, supplied in original box with manuals etc, never got round to fitting it and tuning it all up)

Apexi front mount intercooler

Turbosmart dual stage gated boost control with illuminated in cabin switch

Apexi N1 cat back exhaust (the hot dog style muffler comes out on an angle, not too loud)

Original exhaust also supplied

Speco Boost Gauge

Has 5 piece genuine Skyline floor mats with metal plate

Has light up rear "skyline" logo

17" CSA mags with 235 front and 255 rear tyres heaps of tread

$22000 ono in Brisbane

Also have some really good stereo gear, and custom mountings etc that I had made for the skyline which I would throw in at the right price.

Orion XTRPRO10D 10" subwoofer, in custom sealed enclosure mounted under parcel shelf, trim panel and mounting boards for amplifiers to go in the boot (could be adapted to suit any amps).

Will consider a small cheap car as trade and maybe even an NA 180SX or Silvia.

I will have some pics up on the weekend. If interested you can email me at [email protected]

edit: Forgot, it also has an expensive alarm and immobiliser.

edit2: Had new EBC greenstuff brake pads fitted recently and new NGK iridium spark plugs.

edit3: Also has GFB Hybrid blow off valve and has ABS Brakes (original blow off valve also supplied as I still have it)

Keep thinking of things that I left off the first post. I spent too much money on this car!!

yeh I actually quit to go back and study full time, just can't quite stretch the money far enough to keep the car, its a shame as it is really nice, especially with pretty much all the mods done.

Haven't even turned the boost up yet as I was going to get it set when I got the SAFC fitted and tuned.

I would rather sell the SAFC with the car at the moment. How's the 32 going?

No body kit, the idea was to leave it looking like a plain R33 and do all of the performance mods. Less likely to be stolen then.

I will try to take some more up to date pics today.

yeh I believe merli decided to keep his in the end. I was actually looking at getting a very similar body kit put onto mine as it looks really nice.

I will try and get some more pics up this evening or tomorrow, depends if I get time today, the cars a bargain for whoever buys it as it cost me a hell of a lot more to buy and put all of these parts on it. Drives beautifully and the white nismo gauges just look awesome.

Will you consider swap for a gen HR31 GTS-X in perfect condition?

Some of the boys have seen my car i have posted it up a few times. My mod list goes longer than my arm. I have spent to the close side of 20g's on the car.

Just a few bits to get you interested....

T3/4 Hybrid turbo (good for 20+psi)

Custom Side mount intercooler

550cc HKS injectors

700HP pump

5/8" lines

ECU re-mapped with Nismo chip

Worked Auto trans

33 spline diff LSD (with elec. traction control)

Elec Drivers seat

Full velour trim (black)

After market boost gauge in crome cup

Tail shaft loop

137km's on the clock

Lovell Spings front

King springs rear

Blitsen shocks rear

Elec. shocks front (adjustable from cabin)

Elec. Front spolier (Auto mode still works)

$6,000 in stereo (2 amps, 1 sub, Audison splits, DSP, CD tuner)

New Nismo spark packs

R32 GTR throttle body

12 port plenium chamber

No speed cutter

Has rpm cut and boost cut defenders

Original Black/Silver paint, garaged all its life.

Nismo 300zx AFM

Fuel preasure reg

Custom t piece (good for 24psi)

Nismo bearing set (bottom end)

Jun crank

Mines Cams

GTR valve springs

Very cold A/C

Never been in an accident

I run 8psi daily with 176rwkw (400km's to tank)

I have run 13psi on dyno at 224.2rwkw (300km's to tank)

I tried to run 17psi on dyno but the car jumped around too much

and the dyno guys would not allow me to go foot flat.

(Most likely 5km's per tank, LOL)

I did the shocks and springs after that and it would be

allright to run 17psi now as the car sits allot better......

Im looking for a fairly stock looking R33 to become my next

sleeper / project car.......

NOTE: I was also going to drop manual gear in but lost

intrest and money at casino. So am not too worried if you

are not intrested in this vechicle as i was planning on keeping

it for many years to come....... Im just toying with the idea

of doing an R33 now, but am very weary of selling the R31.

I've been after a 4 door Skyline for some time, but your interest in trading a small car (eg Corolla) might just sway me!

I have a 92 Corolla CSi sedan with 205K on the dial. The paintwork is not real flash, but mechanically it's quite good. I get just under 500K to a tank of BP Ultimax (40L tank). I have a full service record for it since I purchased in late 98. I've driven it for 95K now. Not an exciting car, but it has been reliable, and after some initial expenses, quite cheap to run.

I'd be interested to know a few more things about your ride:

- how much is it costing you to insure in Brisbane (with all those tasty mods)?

- how much do you estimate it would cost to fit and tune the SAFC?

Also, the kms sound quite low to me - how many have you put on it in Australia? Do you have the original auction record for it?

    • Mate you saved be from dying in the Perth summer. AC wasn't changing direction and just going into diagnostics mode fixed it. You're a legend and I would shout you a beer if I could!
    • Unfortunately effort gone to waste, you will have substantial issues with how the manifold and wastegate have been integrated. You would be so much better off with a modified stock manifold like this: https://hypergearturbos.com/product/rb25detexgatedmanifold/   OR literally just getting a off the shelf Sinco or 6Boost manifold as myself and others have mentioned.
    • Yuck. But it's kinda the same principle, moving timing around to make car run bad but sound good.... I went for a more spirited tuning drive to iron out a few things. Car no longer stalls, and it loved to dip RPM low when you clutch in. After tuning this (and the 4-5 tables that HPTuners/LS1 OEM ECU wants for idle air correction) it's now behaving somewhat normal. All expected because there's a new TB, new Intake manifold and that new TB which is 102mm vs 78... has an entirely different IAC passage which is smaller because ????? Unfortunately at this point I went to make further fine tuning changes to avoid it flaring up, you know... _tuning_ the HPTuners dongle died. Well to be more accurate - The USB cable died in a fashion that anyone who has ever charged a phone will recognize. After the app demanding I resync it 50 or so times (which all 'succeeded' but all failed) the device does not want to sync and I've logged a ticket with support to see if it's fixable. US Support said it was a 'storage issue' but after removing the SD card inside it and formatting it/fixing it the issue does persist. Unfortunately usually the fix is "Turn in your old dongle and pay $700 for the upgraded one" it's cheaper because I get some free licence credits I unfortunately don't need. However I'm 10 minutes down the road from HP Tuners AUS/VCM so at least I won't need to post it, and logged a new ticket for support over here. Definitely drives different. My SOTP dyno believes it's probably making 310-320kw instead of the 280 before.  It scrambles for traction a little now whereas it previously different. It drives like a bigger cam car up top even though the cam is smaller, likely due to the cam not being advanced 6 degrees. The timing is deliberately low and the fuel is very rich so who knows if this will improve on the dyno. It may, imperceptably. Also funny is removing the pineapples definitely makes the car squat more and axle tramp less. So this behavior of having more top end, squatting more, and scrabbling for traction more makes me think = more power. But I could have just been sitting on the threshold of that kind of behavior before. Time will tell if my butt dyno is calibrated right. I need the exhaust leaks fixed before dyno tune for obvious AFR related reasons - I repositioned the pipes but I'm not confident it's fully sealed even if it is better. At least the car does drive around while I cannot tweak/tune it for now. And I have aircon again. medium success!
    • Don't use that manifold. Please don't use that manifold. Sunk cost fallacy is not worth the later pain. None of these will be relevant to the change that will come from the different turbo and manifold. As in, the effect of the exhaust will be nil, regardless of what else is changed. And all the cam and fuel system stuff is not changing either way, so has no effect. The turbo and manifold (and to a small extent the wastegate)....big change.
