Hey guys,

Have an R33 GTST making just over 260rwkw that I will be doing some track circuit/drift days in. I also drive it on the street probably twice a week.

I believe my brakes are completely standard and want to upgrade but dont know exactly what to use exactly in terms of brands & parts also dont want to spend bucket loads.

I want the brakes to obviously remain strong once they have heated up & want a setup that will help the handbrake to always lock up on entrances. Ive noticed after few pull ups, the handbrake starts to get a little lazy and the wheels dont really lock up.

From what i have been told so far, i should do the following. Please confirm im not going wrong anywhere.

Front Braking

-Retain standard fron calipers, but upgrade Pads

-Get new bigger cross drilled discs

-Upgrade brake fluid

Rear Braking

-Get URAS rear brake kit including shoes & pads

Your help and advice is much appreciated

Check here for Brake Pads guide, everyone gives their opinions on a large range of pads:

You might also want to look into some Braided Break Lines, there is some for sale in the GROUP BUY section. And maybe a brake master cylinder stopper to give the pedal a firmer feel.

Along with some better fluid, this will help you car pull up time and time again. Cheers.
