Hey guys thought i'd tap into the vast knowledge on anything skyline and get some info. At the moment im close to the $2500 needed for my new bodykit however im now thinking i'll save that little bit longer and get coilovers at the same time so it looks even meaner.

My car is a 1994 R33 GTS, no NA jokes im on my P's and therefore i'm happy with my lil GTS. In 3yrs i'll drop somethin nicer in the bay or just buy a GTS-T... but anyway what's everyones thoughts on coilovers. I don't want to spend a fortune as i'm not a serious racer but I am keen to hit up some track days down the road. What kinda price range would I be lookin at for a mid budget coilovers?

Also what brands do you all recommend and who should I steer clear of. Theres a few on ebay that look the part but im cautious bout buyin anything off ebay as I don't have the knowledge to know what i'm looking it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance. Pez.

My friend has ISC Coilvers in his R32 GT-R VSpec II, i went for a drive in it, handles absolutley beautiful, and I also plan to purchase some ISC Coilovers off Ryan in the near future. (When Kevin gives me $900). I've got nothing but good things to say, and you can choose your own spring rates.

i was weighing this up just a few weeks ago. there are heaps of threads around, do a search for tein and greddy type s.

tein super sports are on the cheaper end and you will read not as good and the more expensive ones, but pretty popular. there is a good thread

around explaining the difference between the different types.

i went for greddy type s. height adjustable without compressing the spring. love em so far, the difference over stock is crazy, while

still keeping your eyes in your head.

Three years is a long time who know's what will happen to my humble GTS between now and then. If enough work goes into it i'll drop a new engine in instead of buyin a GTS-T.

Thanks for the replies too guys, not 100% on what i'll get yet but the responses have helped a lot. Im thinkin one of the lower end $1000-1500 ones as they seem to be more street friendly?

do you plan on tracking the car??

have you considered purchasing a lowering kit instead, (lowered shocks and springs)... i know its not the tuners first preferance but if your only guna drive it as a daily its all you will need and you will be saving yourself a grand.

it will look just as good and with the money you saved u can put it toward a gtr ;)
