New Stagea Owner

Hi all, thought i'd better introduce myself, bought a black m35 250t rs four, 2002, 38000ks.

Previously drove an r31 wagon with a stack of susp & brake mods, big wheels and the like. When it came time to upgrade, couldn't stand the thought of a commodore or falcon, and just can't seeem to scrape together the cash for an Audi RS4 avant .

After a couple of weeks of ownership, what a great car! Even stock, it crushes most cars I've owned. Lots of great info on here, just got to start modifying now! Cheers.

much all categories but i still find my self standing there wondering which one i will drive today.

Car is completely standard, so a blank slate to work with.

Already fitted new RDA pads (big improvement for $70), pulled the inspection cover out of the airbox and fabricated a plate with pinchweld to seal against the bonnet and radiator support (copied the idea from someones pic on here), so next, exhaust, springs/ shocks (any brands people have had good results with?)

No sadly, sold my 31 two weeks ago after 9 years 'twas a sad day... Lots of fun to drive.

Will post some pics soon, (have to sit down and work out how to do it) car is being detailed (hopefully this weekend) so the millions of tiny scratches will be gone and shiny paint will be revealed.

I was in the same happy place you are around 1.5 months ago

Hasn't been detailed yet but I'm hoping to get it done soon, need to get the driver's side resprayed first courtesy of a knob and a key that was too close to my door.. argh

A few thousand more KM's and it's off to Unique Auto Sports for a service and some new bits and pieces that will hopefully make it go a little faster

Welcome aboard, Dale! The Stagea is a great car - I've had my C34 for 3.5yrs now, and I can't see myself getting rid of it any time soon! My old man is thinking of updating one of his cars, so unless he chooses to go another new car, I might try and steer him in the direction of an M35 as well.

We're always too happy to hear about how good the Stagea is here - you see, we appreciate a good car!

The R31 wagon is the late '80's workhorse of choice for plenty of people. I had a S1 Bluebird wagon for a few years as a parts-chaser, and it was so practical it wasn't funny.

For the price of a C34 these days, they are the logical next step for the same sort of task.
