Nosure
Hi guys I got problem today. my car was running with a 33gtr PFC and custom wire loom before. I just bought a used PFC D jetro(for BNR34). this one should just plug in and no need the 33-34 wire loom. after I swich to D jetro the car counldn't start. my tuner told me there is no pulse signal for the injectors. and they will check the pins on monday. if the pins are all right, maybe the problem is the computer itself. anyone got the same problem???? I hope the problem is the pins not the PFC. PS: I don't know why the car used a 33gtr pfc before, 34gtr pfc should have same price as 33. confuse``` Edited April 3, 2009 by Nosure Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/264098-car-cant-start-after-installed-pfc-d-jetro/ Share on other sites
R31Nismoid
If memory serves me correct, the R34 CAS is different... hence your problem. Side question - why on earth would you need a custom wiring loom for a GTR running a PFC? alpinestars
from memory theres a security wire from the dash that feeds to the pfc to start the car also the cas is different and the wiring to the cas is setup different aswell Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/264098-car-cant-start-after-installed-pfc-d-jetro/#findComment-4516993 Share on other sites
paulr33
why on earth are you using a BNR34 PFC on an R33? are you sure? from memory the main ECU socket is different there are many differences on the wiring loom (and socket is different too) so theres no way it would work ie: you cant plug an R34 ECU into an R33 Car what car do you have? what model PFC do you have? (Whats the model # on the metal case) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/264098-car-cant-start-after-installed-pfc-d-jetro/#findComment-4516994 Share on other sites

(Whats the model # on the metal case) I have a 34GTR, its use a PFC (BNR33L) before. now I change to PFC(BNR34D). and then there is no injector singal and the car couldn't start. I guess the pin must had been changed for suit the BNR33L PFC. I hope the problem is not the D jetro computer itself. paulr33
yeah i was about to say, theres no way it would plug in so yeah you had a boomslang extension which converted to an R33 GTR PFC (what a waste) id say there could be numerous things wrong go find a local work shop who can tune skylines and get them to fix it its too hard and complex to play interenet mechanic Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/264098-car-cant-start-after-installed-pfc-d-jetro/#findComment-4517442 Share on other sites
