My "Enter" button for my SatNav TV fell off one night. I stuck it back in, but now it won't illuminate a nice soothing yellow glow like the others!

Firstly, is it supposed to be backlit in the first place? Or did I lose a bulb or a diode? What can I do?

PS. The above picture was not taken by me. I just edited it to make things clearer.

Thanks!

That's my friggin' finger!

I have never paid attention whether that Enter button is illuminated or not... probably nothing much you can do about it, just live with it, considering we hardly use the button for anything since the computer is all in Japanese and most features only work in Japan, I think it's not really worth to fix

I'd just take it apart and either re-fix the globe or re-fasten the connector.

Either way you'll have to get there to have a look.

Does the button still work? If so, then the connector is fine, probably just the globe that needs a replace.... unless its one of those stupid LED ones that you have to solder *growls*

Thanks for all the replies!! My button works fine, it can move in all directions and can control the TV.

Can someone confirm that the button does or does not illuminate in the first place? Cheers...

Now question 2, which I forgot to add earlier....

What is this cable for? It's in my centre console.

Thanks once again!

no it does not light up. the ring around it does. the cable that you show is the handsfree phone system that is useless here. pop the panel out that it pokes through and tuck it out of sight, that would also make your car a 2005+ version.

Hi mate,

That look like for a JDM toshiba Phone. ( Not able to 100% Sure just from picture), I got the toshiba JDM 920T, the connection is more like the one you get.

SO I guess if you got a toshiba phone, you can used your sterero for hand free?
