93 Magna Tr Rims Sizes.

Hey guys, My cousin lives in outback QLD and wants to get mags for his Magna TR 1993. His dad rekons that he can't go bigger than 15's!!

I think he is full of it and has no idea what he's on about.. He used to be a Used car salesman..lol. (nothing against them, but he is an idiot)

I know that if you go bigger rims you get lower profile to keep the same size, but am i missing anything?

I just want to confirm this before i tell him his dad is a dumbass! I think he should be able to easily go 17's with no drama.

yeh ur right mate, as long as u go a lower profile tyre and keep the same OD they cant rub because they're the same size, just gotta make sure the offset is right otherwise they will rub.. 17's should fit width wise but they'll have to be fairly thin (or a perfect offset) doubt 8's will fit for example

Shouldn't your mate be concentrating on getting 2.3m aerials and bull bars on his magna first?

what about 4 x 2000watt spot lights for the roof?
